Comfortable

I like the shoe...
... but like anything else made for a mass market, it will not suit everyone. Firstly, this will not, for me, work as a running shoe. The laces are fixed. Without cumbersome workarounds, they can't be laced tighter. But I didn't get them for running, I got them for walking and for that they are, for me, just the thing. I wear a Euro 46, that would be a US 12.5. I got the 13 and with a medium thickness sock, the length is not too much. A person with a 13 foot would probably be just right. The extra width is compensated by that sock. Barefoot, the shoe is a little loose all around for me. I like the toe box. Not that you need to know this, but my toes turn up and a tapered toe shoe will not work for me at all. Now that the shape of my toes are stuck in your head, this shoe is very light. it is also very well vented, that is important where I live, and it looks good. The black goes with just about anything, the sole is easily cleaned with a soapy brush, the innersole isn't much but since I won't be running in it, no dealbreaker.I don't see this shoe living long in a washing machine or dryer, but a rinse with a hose, air dried and stuffed with a dryer sheet, it will be fine. The heel tabs and tongue have no sharp edges nor clumps of glue that would offend, and they could be worn sans socks, if you are the kind of person that also doesn't wear underwear or brush your teeth.Otherwise a good, cheap walking shoe. I like mine.

These are wide. Large toe box. Probably really good for people with bunions or arthritis? Bought them for my teenager. He's going to use these as "play" shoes.

Insole is an issue
All is good, but the insole, when waking it slides back under foot, and when you take your foot out it comes out.
