is this fits to 18 f150 reverse light?

3156/57 are the same base, when these are used in a 3156 socket they operate in the high brightness mode, they fit and work fine in my 18 F-150 as reverse lights. You can also get them in red for tail/brake/turn sockets, you just need resistors for them for that.

how is the life on these things?

Both of mine just died within the same week. They lasted 18 months. Frankly I'm disappointed by that timeframe.

When your input voltage is 12V, the current draw is 0.22A on high power for the red bulbs, amber bulbs' is 0.29A, thanks.
