Simple Design - Works Perfectly.
I absolutely adore these to bits!I had another set that was very similar to this one, but my mom tried them out and loved them so much that I ended up giving them to her. : )So far I like this set a bit better, as the bottom's are quite as rounded (ie. a little more stable). You really need very little water when using these - if you add too much you'll have to dab your eggs dry with a paper towel.Though this is also convenient because less water in the pot means that much sooner the water boils and you can get to cooking. For me, I like to cook these for exactly six minutes. They have the perfect "in between" consistency of cooked and dippy. If you prefer them very dippy, try five minutes. And likewise, if you prefer them mostly cooked through, try seven to eight minutes. It really depends on your personal preference, so you may have to experiment a couple times.Once you figure it out though it comes out the same way every time, which I love. <3Again, just make sure there's not too much water (I add about an inch or so to the bottom of the pot) and that you only add the egg cups AFTER the water has come to a boil (otherwise the cooking times I mentioned above won't line up). Also, muy importante, you should always use a lid to cover your pot with. This helps to make sure that the egg is cooked evenly.I also spray the bottoms with Pam (you could use butter or something of the like though) to keep the egg from sticking. If you do this, the eggs will slip out perfectly and cleaning the cups is a breeze. Just give them a wipe down and they're good.Overall, for this price especially ($4.95 for a pack of four cups at the time of writing this review), this is an amazing deal and I'd purchase this again in a heartbeat.I never knew how easy and just how much I loved poached eggs until I got these.Ps. Oh, I almost forgot! The petals on the rims of the cup are especially helpful! My last ones didn't have that, so I had to use a large spoon to pull them out of the hot water when they were done. Now I can just grab a petal on either side and pull it out with my hands.Very convenient design.

Fantastic product!!
I've had these poacher cups for a almost a week now, and every time I use them, I swear they are THE best purchase I've ever made on Amazon! I had no idea these cooking tools even existed (egg poacher cups), so I marvel at how ingenious they are. Seriously easy - I set them in the water, then crack my egg right into them. Plop the cover on the pan, then get my toast and coffee ready to go. I love these as the sides are a little taller than other brands I've seen, which makes it very easy to pluck out of the water when the eggs are ready. I've found the perfect egg takes about four minutes and not once has an egg been stuck, they slide out easily, and are cooked exactly the way I like -- runny yolks and solid whites. I have a small flock of hens so I eat fresh eggs daily (I used to boil them). The poacher cups wash up in two seconds, and it's been a real pleasure to start my day having a quick and healthy breakfast. If I could give more than five stars I absolutely would.

Great for consistent results, but wish you didn't need to spray
Great little product for making consistent results with poached eggs so much easier. I wish that they were a bit more non-stick and you didn't need to spray them (because I always forget), and it would be nicer to just be able to pop the egg out of the cup as it is. I will say that even when I forget to spray (but still skim around the egg with a spoon) you don't lose too much egg, but it does make clean up more difficult. It would also be good if they put the raised lettering of the logo on the outside of the cup, again because it makes it difficult to clean around the little lettering---and you don't want to mark the egg. They do float well and are easy to pick up out of the water. I found the grey color to be an odd choice with the other bright/fun colors though.

They're Okay, Sort Of
Well, yeah, they work, pretty simple and straight-forward. Certainly better than those microwave poachers – if you leave those 1 second too long in the microwave they explode and you can spend the next twenty minutes cleaning egg off the walls and ceiling of your oven. And better than poaching by swirling your egg in simmering water, where 90% of you egg white gets lost. I just can't understand why these poachers have to be thin, floppy silicone. Fifty years ago I had a simple metal pan with four metal poachers suspended above the water and it worked flawlessly, every time. Is silicone somehow "better?" Remember, we're just talking about poaching eggs here, not inventing some radical culinary breakthrough. So yeah, I suppose these poachers work, but they're hardly an improvement over half-century-old technology...

Works as described.
These are deeper than my other poach cups so they will not spill so easily. They have a cute flower rim so it is easier to remove them from the boiling water. Colors are nice (see photo). Easy to clean, non-stick. Just make sure to use spray oil in the smooth inside before use. Dishwasher safe so clean up is easy. I usually cook my poached eggs for 8 to 10 minutes from boil point. Deliciously cooked. Impressed by the design. I recommend these cups over the other poachers out there. Arrived in two days.

Do not work!
Total waste! I carefully followed instructions, TERRIBLE! Each container had water (from steam) in top. It says 3 to 5 minutes - I did 4 - still not correctly cooked. Forget these things - do them like your grandmother taught you. These take way longer and harder to clean.

Buy these; you need them.
These are worth every penny. My picky eater 8yo decided poached eggs were his fave breakfast, but I hated the hassle. These work great. Minimal effort, slide out easily (use non stick spray), and have great consistency. They even work in the microwave! I didn’t want to wait to boil water one morning so I put one in the microwave and covered it with a paper towel. 45 seconds later I had the fluffy treat you see in the first pic.I plan on buying a second set bc I have six kids and they have all fallen in love with these eggs. 10 out of 10!Read the instructions for best eggs. Dishwasher safe but also easy to clean by hand.
