Glass Food Storage Containers, Leak Proof, Oven Safe, Easy to Clean, Stain Resistant, Set of 7, 14 Pieces Including Lids, BPA-Free, Clear with Blue Silicone Ring

These arrived today (Mon, Jan 16, 2023) and very pleased with how well these were packaged for shipping. True to photos and other positive reviews. Once I've used and washed, will update this review as to leaking, cleaning, and durability. So far, so good! One of the main reasons I bought these is that they are borosilicate glass which should be more durable in the dishwasher (though lids are recommended to be hand washed). I do a lot of food prep for both freezer and fridge, which these glass containers are intended for. UPDATE Monday, January 23, 2023: One of the smaller rectangular containers had a defective lid. It was very difficult to take it off in order to wash and use it but I did not get that far because once opened, the blue plastic tabs would not re-close. I contacted Amazon and they immediately sent me a replacement set which I received today (Monday Jan 23, 2023) and in unboxing, the very top larger rectangular container had one broken blue plastic closure tab (see attached photo). The smallest broken piece was sitting on top of the cardboard inner packaging but I had to completely empty the box of all of the containers in order to locate the other two broken pieces, which is important because this tells me that the damage occurred during shipment and not in packing at the Amazon warehouse. Since this is the second delivery of this same item, it was very disappointing but Amazon made good on their customer service and goodwill efforts toward me, and I received resolution on this issue. Amazon has promised me full credit due to the inconvenience of not receiving what I originally paid for and having to contact them several times now about it. Amazon graciously is allowing me to keep and use the rest of the containers which do not seem to have any issues, so far, so good. I have checked them all to be sure, but as you can see, this lid still has the protective plastic wrap on it, immediately out of the box this afternoon. It is a shame that being an Amazon Basics product, that Amazon could not simply replace the defective/broken lids from the first and second deliveries, so that is my only criticism of this process but it worked out well enough in the end. As the glass is borosilicate I can still possibly use the two containers now without lids for baking and maybe a small birdbath on my patio... or something. Sometimes, things don't happen as they should and Amazon rectified the problem to the best of their ability. Thank you, Amazon, for helping me with this issue today. I really appreciate it. Will update once the refund process is completed. UPDATE Wednesday, Jan 25, 2023: I've already used and washed these containers. My new favorites!!! I baked a piece of salmon yesterday in the larger rectangular container after thawing it in same. They wash well in dishwasher but remember to hand wash the lids (some plastics do shrink with too much heat), as some other buyers have verified in their reviews. RECOMMEND

The lids go on easily, they are easy to clean, & they come in a nice variety of shapes and sizes. Because they are glass containers they do not retain odors, flavors, or stains they way plastic ones do plus you no longer had to guess what you stored in them. They are easily stackable and I haven’t experienced any leaks. They’re sturdy and the lids seal tightly, preventing leaks and keeping food fresh. I love that they’re microwave safe which makes reheating easy. The set is perfect for meal prep and storing leftovers. Highly recommend.

Sometimes kids are very difficult to get on. Have had some of these chip on the edges, so they don't seem to be as sturdy as I would like, but maybe I just need to treat them more delicately. Otherwise, we like these and have bought this set 2x since we needed more storage and like non-plastic options.

Seven Borosilicate glass food containers for $22. I decided to take a chance on Amazon's brand and add them to my Pyrex collection. I've used them exclusively for leftovers for a week, and they have been great. So far, my only complaint is that the glass doesn't come with permanent lettering that says it's freezer-, microwave-, dishwasher-, and oven-safe. Not needed, but it would be nice. FYI: The large dish is a little deeper than the Pyrex. I will add more in a few months.

These are great,nice sizes and sturdy glass. Lids are nice fit and easy to close and open. Seal on lids come out for thorough cleaning,easy to remove and replace after washing.

Absolutely love these! Very durable. Only wish there was a 3 cup size included in the pack. The large sizes are great for storing a lot, but they are not really portable for daily lunch use.

Wash well in the dishwasher and good selection of sizes. I find that they can be difficult to snap closed, needing to use "body weight" against the counter instead of just hand strength. The square stack nicely within the square, and perfect for the refrigerator.

In my opinion, these food storages are very well designed and of good quality. I particularly like the lids and the sizes and shapes of the glass food storage containers. Overall, I’m a big fan and would definitely buy them again. It would be great if Amazon sold them separately at least in pairs of the same size. Having two of the larger round containers would also be fantastic. They’re great!

Ho provato questo set di contenitori in vetro con coperchi bloccabili e nel breve video allegato mostro proprio come sono fatti e come funzionano nella pratica. Il sistema è molto semplice: il coperchio appoggia sul bordo del contenitore e le quattro linguette laterali a scatto bloccano tutto in posizione. La chiusura risulta molto solida e dà subito la sensazione di essere ben sigillata. Una volta chiuso il coperchio, il contenitore resta perfettamente sigillato grazie alla guarnizione in silicone integrata, che contribuisce a mantenere la freschezza degli alimenti. Il contenitore è realizzato in vetro trasparente abbastanza spesso, che permette di vedere subito il contenuto senza aprirlo. Il vetro dà anche una sensazione di maggiore igiene rispetto alla plastica perché non assorbe odori né macchie. Nel video si vede anche la fase di apertura: le clip si sganciano facilmente con le dita e il coperchio si solleva senza sforzo. È un sistema pratico se si usa spesso il contenitore durante la giornata. Dal punto di vista dell’utilizzo quotidiano ho apprezzato diversi aspetti: Pro: -vetro robusto e trasparente -coperchi con chiusura a clip molto stabile -guarnizione in silicone che migliora la tenuta -ideale per conservare affettati, avanzi o preparazioni -facile da aprire e richiudere -non trattiene odori come molti contenitori in plastica Contro: -il vetro è più pesante della plastica (ma anche molto più durevole) Il set include più contenitori di diverse dimensioni, utili per organizzare frigorifero e freezer o per preparare pasti in anticipo.
