This is a good tool when you want to convert recipes. I am an old WW member so I mainly use it to see the points of the recipes in one of the older WW programs. By the way, I don't care much for the point system; portion control and knowing the food groups works better. I like the 1-2-3 Success program better. It's a little more strick than the point system, but I think it's a better approach to weight loss. In the point system, they say you can eat a lot more fruit and vegetables. Well, that's okay with the veggies, but lots of fruits have a lot of sugar in them. So portion control is very important. Good luck!

I purchased this calcultor thinking I would save money vs. purchasing at "Weight Watchers" but I was sadly mistaken.... brand new WW Calculators are available from the weight watchers stores in Ontario, Canada for as low as $6.95 (at the time I went they were on promotion) and I paid $19 each on Amazon? Yes, the 2 I bought online did come a replacement batteries, which was great, but when I showed the ladies who worked there my purchase, they said "Oh, where did you get that? That's the OLD model!" and when I told them what I paid they had to laugh.... so long story short, do your reasearch first people! I wish I had just done a bit of research first, but other then that the items came quickly and packaged well.

This is a great product, I love it, it keeps track of your points for a day or a week, plus calculats your points for items, Great to take to the grocery store with you. The only complaint I have is that the button are kind of small. But, over all a great item, I even bought one for my daughter.

My weight watchers electronic tracker & points calculator was recommended to me by a family member. I had notice my family was losing weight so ask my family member to show me her method so I can lose some weight, I found a weight watcher calculator on amazon so I ordered it I'm glad I did. It was a good price. Yes I would recommend to family,friends,and any one interested in purchasing this weight watcher calculator.

I had to go back to points plus because the new smart points diet does not work for me. I have been steadily gaining since they changed it so I need this to figure out the points plus and it's working great.

This product is great for calculating the Plus Points on the WW diet; however to do that the user must know the protein, carbs, fat, and fiber in the food to be calculated. Information is readily available on line for this. My main complaint is that although it tracks points for the day, it does not allow you to enter points you already know. For example, if you know an egg is two points and just want to enter that, you can't - you have to go through and enter the protein, carbs, etc before the machine will allow you to enter the points to you daily tally. For me, this makes it a waste of money. I will use it for calculating points I don't know but that is about it.

it didn't work when I received it, the battery was dead I figured. rather than try and go through the bother of returning it, I chanced it and bought a battery at walmart, the special flat round kind. this did work. so now I can use my tracker. this saves so I don't need to use the online fees for weight watchers.
