Dart Roller Skates for Men and Women

I’m a 260lb tattooed 50yr old guy who needs exercise. Despite being off skates since adulthood, my girl took me to a roller rink and I decided this would be good for me. I’ve been using these Darts for about two weeks now, three days per week, and they’ve been a great purchase at their price point. The smallest sneaker I can wear is an 11. I wanted a good safe fit and ordered an 11 for these Riedells and they fit perfect. I read reviews about being narrow but I feel it fits like it should. I guess I don’t have wide feet but I definitely don’t have narrow feet. Anyway, I thought they fit true to size, for men. The weight doesn’t bother me and I’ve had NO ankle pain.. and I’m out of shape, so I should have. I kind of have feet problems and a lot of shoes are too uncomfortable for me but these skates did fine with stock insoles for the hour I spend on them at the rink. The wheels are great for beginners. They feel like they’re smooth and quick enough but, being as I was a big skateboarder for decades, I might try upgrading the wheels to a slightly harder one, maybe a 95a, with Swiss bearings. I THINK I want to go faster.. but the wheels and bearings that come on it are great quality and should make most people happy. I’m only going to change them to see what happens, not because I’m unhappy with their performance. So, if you’re looking for a good skate that’s is good at its price point, I think Riedell Darts work great.

The shoe to these is SO comfortable!! So much better than VNLAs! I did end up putting some rollerbones wheels and bearings on them because the original wheels are too slow imo. I also added some pink derby laces. Perfect for beginners tho! They are so cute as well and don’t make my feet look big. Definitely size DOWN and MEASURE YOUR FOOT standing up!! I’m usually a 9-9.5 in shoes but I ordered an 8 and they are PERFECT! I love the adjustable strap as well and it holds the laces in place. This was such a great buy and I highly recommend.

I’m extremely happy with my Riedell skates — this was an excellent purchase. They are very comfortable on the inside, and you can really see and feel the quality of the stitching and overall construction. Everything feels well made and durable. I followed the size chart carefully when choosing my size, and they fit perfectly.

I scored on this set. It was 68% off used. So i was like hope it all goes well. They are brand new. Looks like they didnt fit someone and they returned them. So amazon used is a good deal it it pops up. First time use very soft on the feet. Skated for 4 hrs. Zero blasters. The wheels roll good for abec5. I just ordered abec 11 and some glow wheels. For starters skates and novice skaters this is a good skate. Want to go pro up the bearings. Wheels are ok they is better out there

I tried them out and they work pretty well outside. I can't do much on the asphalt, which is fine, I can't do anything on most sidewalks because they don't lay flat, but I was able to ride down a paved road at a church and I think it went really well. After I got home, I tried fidgeting with the wheels and I noticed that three of them are really stiff all of a sudden, but I'm assuming that's because I decided to try walking around in them outside, which definitely led to debris getting stuck inside. Three wheels were tighted more than others, but for some reason, my whole family kept saying that they're supposed to be that way, but I'm more than confident that they're wrong, so do what the manual says and adjust the wheels as needed. They were very snug, yet comfortable; the only thing I didn't like was the space between the toe-stop and the front wheels. It's very hard for me to use the stop effectively, because it hits the ground sooner than I can get in a balanced position. I've borrowed mall skates before at Music City Mall, and the toe stop is farther from the ground so that I can comfortably stop myself and even walk if I wanted to; whereas on these, I can't balance while stopping, and if I were to try walking, I'd end up falling because I can't put more weight on the toes than on the heel. They might be beginner friendly, but they're not what I was looking for. They are still good though, and I wouldn't mind using them in a roller rink. I just need to adjust

Excellent value for the money and for what you get. I got them setup and I stood up on the carpet with no problem, but then I moved over to the kitchen flooring and got about five feet and fell to the floor hard...lol Very fast if you ask me and pretty awesome! Sure, it's not genuine leather but for a hundred bucks what do you expect. I was anticipating a cheap low quality pair of skates but instead I received way more than what I expected. You can't do much about the boot but I replaced the toe stops with a pair of Gumball stops and I got rid of the shoe laces. The laces are not the right type and belong on a pair of hiking boots. I replaced them with a real cool looking pair of black and white "Derby Laces Style Wide 10mm Waxed Lace for Roller Skates", and the skates now look super cool, take a look for yourself. I don't know about the other guys with the bad reviews but I'm very happy with my pair of speed skates. I love the way they look. Again, you get what you pay for but in my opinion, with these you get much more. I highly recommend these skates for any beginner or somebody just getting back into skating again. Be warned, these are not a toy and are the real deal.

These fit good and the charts still was good enough when i was figuring out what size to get.

Purchased these for roller derby. These are well made and the fit was perfect! Wheels are perfect for indoor rink skating. Well worth the price!

Son muy cómodos, traen su llave para ajustar las ruedas y los trucks, el tope es ajustable a la altura que quieras, la talla es correcta. Cuidado si quieres hacer una devolución o un cambio te cobrarán cargos de importación.

Delivered quickly and well made!!!

I only have complaints about the insoles of the skates, they should be thicker or of better quality since you can feel the screws a little.

Llevo dos clases y todo mundo dice que son los mejores patines que han visto.

Was told by Amazon to contact Riedell for defective wheel bearings. Was told by Riedell to find someone that knows wheels to fix it. I know how to fix wheels and I know when a skate has a bad bearing. I was also told "this is way beyond my job scope." My skates were used once and Riedell refused to resolve the problem.
