High-quality keyboard
I now have three different styles of mechanical keyboards from RK and all of them are solid boards. One of them has brown switches, two of them have blue switches, and I opted for red switches on this one. I am getting used to the red switches after spending so long using blues. It will take a little getting used to, but I can tell the keyboard itself is made from higher-quality materials. The switches feel solid and consistent, and the board has good weight to it. I do wish the RGB backlight was a little brighter when it's not plugged in as the backlight dims a little when you unplug it. Obviously, this is to save battery life so I understand why it does it, and it's really only a small complaint. As for the wireless functionality, so far it has a consistent signal with no drops. Overall, I am as happy with this board as I am with my other RK's.

This is an amazing keyboard and I highly recommend to buy
At the beginning, I was hesitant to buy this keyboard for there are some negative evaluation mentioned by other buyers. However, this keyboard has the most features in this price, so I decided to take a risk. I kept using it for about two weeks. It did not disappoint me and none of the problems mentioned by other people appeared to me.1. I used the 3 kinds of connection separately for a period of time. The wired, Bluetooth and 2.4GHz connection are quite stable, and the disconnection mentioned by other buyers doesn’t appear.2. It keeps randomly disconnecting from my computer after 3 weeks. I am using it wired. The customer service is so great and they help me to solve it.3. RK ROYAL KLUDGE have solved the different switch positions in the software by updating the software.4. As the software was updated by the seller, I can easily customize my keyboard through the software without any other problems.5. The Extendable feet contribute to a very comfortable gaming angle! And the HUB ports on the keyboard are pragmatic, giving me an additional port to connect the USB flash disk. The hot swappable ability is convenient, giving me an access to change the switches quickly. Oh gosh! I love it!

After Support Intervention, I'm 100% Happy with this keyboard
------- original review (3-stars) with two updates below -------Before really getting into why I took off two stars...I DO REALLY LIKE THIS KEYBOARD, and it's a great deal for the price. It hit everything I was looking for, USB passthrough and option for wireless, and hot swappable mechanical keys. It does all of these things well...So why would I give it only 3 stars?1. I ordered the red keyed version, it came with Gateron White, the spare switches are RK Red. I'm not sure who makes RK Red or if Royal Kludge makes them themselves; but having swapped one in, they do feel like Reds. For those unfamiliar with different switches, both red and white are linear switches and have the same specs aside from the white switches requiring a little less force to actuate. The reds are a little "heavier" switch. Purely a preference thing, I'm OK with the whites, but I like the reds better.2. Out of the box I had issues when using it via USB that I had to fix. When I plugged it in, there were random keys that would type wrong letters. I'd type an e or E and get an upper case Q. This did not happen when using via BT or the 2.4Ghz dongle. I was able to fully resolve this issue by re-installing the firmware via the RK software... which leads us to number 3.3. The correct software is hard to find. You have to find the link here on the Amazon page as the keyboard is not listed on RK's website.Aside from the above issues, I think it's a great keyboard. USB passthrough works when it's plugged in. Software is fairly straightforward and easy to use (only works when using USB). Build quality seems good. Uses Gateron switches, which are a known good quality switch. Key caps seem to be decent quality and light illuminates the numbers/letters well.If not for the issues above, I'd give it a 5. Because I was able to resolve #2 and 3 on my own without contacting the seller, it saved it from being a 2. If it came with the advertised switches, it'd be a 4. As it is, I'm giving it a 3 because of the switches and because I had to resolve issues straight out of the box.Bottom line, I would not have an issue buying another one or other RK products.-------UPDATE Feb. 8, 2023 (original review unedited below):Seller contacted me regarding what they could do to make everything right. They have been very helpful in trying to resolve my issues. As I mentioned below, I was able to resolve and issue with the firmware myself once I found the software for the keyboard. They are continuing to work with me to resolve the issue with the incorrect switches, and they have been very helpful and super quick to respond up to this point. They could teach a class on how to take care of their customers.-------Update #2 - Feb 13, 2023:Seller bent over backwards to make things right. I now have the keyboard I want, with the switches that I like. Switches are now RK branded switches. Very smooth, good feel. I'm not a mechanical keyboard aficionado, so I don't know everything and can't speak to comparisons to hand lubed switches, but I do know that I'm very happy with this one and it's probably the best mechanical keyboard I've owned. If not for the initial issues with the firmware and having to track down the software, this would be a 5-star review. I was really torn on bumping it up to 5 based on the customer service, but ultimately, I feel this needs to be a review based on the product itself and the difficulty finding the software would remain an issue for other customers.

Excellent RGB 96% Keyboard
I use this keyboard in my office for my everyday typing tasks and couldn't get rid of a key board with 10 key but wanted a more compact layout. The keyboard comes with a very solid white painted aluminum plate that makes the lighting look great even with the lights on. The white switches are VERY light but feel great, especially after I lubed them. The stabilizers came lightly lubed from the factory but feel even better once lubed heavily. I haven't experienced any connectivity issues using this via Bluetooth, USB, or 2.4ghz. For the price, the features, build quality, and switch quality can't be beat. It can be improved with lubing but came out of the box feeling and sounding great too.
