Some of them seemed too expensive and some (according to reviews) have incorrect information so I wanted to be careful. I talked to my professor and he recommended these books by Tony Mash. (He said in all study guides, there are always areas people may not agree with but the books by Mash are acceptable.) I bought both volume 1 and 2. We then went over the questions that I got wrong together. I really liked how the answers had the explanation. When I took the actual BCBA test, I felt like it was my second or third time to take it as the questions in these books were similar to the actual ones. Of course there were no same questions but it definitely made me feel that I was confident to take it. Now I’m a proud BCBA. Review: Good practice test - I thought this was helpful for the exam. It’s easier than the exam (in my opinion), but it’s good for practicing timing and identifying areas of weakness. I paired it with a practice test that I thought was much harder than the exam. At the end of studying I averaged in the upper 80’s for the sections of this book and I passed the real test on my first try.

I passed!
Great book to practice BCBA exam. I wasn’t sure which material I should go with. Good review book but I didnt realize it was mini tests, but overall a good review. Not able to sit down and use it as a practice test for 160 questions.

Easy to read and understand presentation of topics within scenarios.
