This is a flex-fit hat. A S/M will fit snug. If you don’t mind the snug fit. I wear a 7-1/4 and prefer the S/M, but it is often windy where I am at and I don’t like chasing after my hat. As good looking as this hat is, you can’t go wrong getting both sizes and gifting one if you wanted.
