I have ordered 3 tubs total of this stuff now (recently putting myself on a subscription to lower the cost and get it consistently). This is actually one of the lowest cost BCAA's per gram that I've found. It contains 70 servings of 10 grams. That's 700 grams for under $40. A quick search here on Amazon shows that all other products to hit that 700 gram product hit the $50, and then well over that! This is not expensive. It's actually the most affordable, but really depends on what you want. If you're looking for the bigger servings that this offers (10g) then this is a no brainer. Still, I would argue if you want less than that, this is still the one to get. All you'd have to do is take the measuring scoop and mark off where is half and a quarter, and you'll have your 5g and 2.5g servings. For those of you that do intermittent fasting, get this. You want to be taking this pre-workout to remain in a fasted state, while still being able to maintain and preserve your muscles. This will allow you to burn fat during your workouts and not worry about losing any precious muscle. As for taste, I finally ordered watermelon flavor (and I'll update it when I get try it out), but I've only had the fruit punch. At first, I loved the taste of this, but it's begun to wear on me. It's extremely sweet and I just try to chug it now. It's not unbearable, as supplements go. I think we've all had our fair share of nastiness when it comes to certain products. This isn't that. I'd give it a 6/10 on taste. I'm hoping watermelon delivers. Still, if you're looking for the most cost effective product, this is it. That is surprising, too, considering how this brand is known for its excellent quality. It still is, by the way, excellent quality. Get this. You won't regret it.

Not worth I am not sure about impact as BCAA as I am trying first time but taste is not for everyone. It's difficult to gallop down medicine kind of taste.

I like it. I used different brands until this BSN Amino X. Some were good and some were just so so. I like this one more on the taste and the results. I go to the gym everyday before swimming. So I need Amino Acid. Not sugar. Quality is perfect.

I have been using this brand for the better part of 5 years, so you could call me a brand loyalist. However, recently BSN changed the formula and product packaging at the same time. Let's break these two points down: *Formula: The formula before was fine, although formulated with artificial sweeteners and dyes. I was OK with it, but not super thrilled. The product has always worked for me and my muscle recovery was great. Now, the formula has changed and the product has a bitter dirt-like taste during and after consumption. This makes it hard to consume during my workouts, and often I am finding that I don't finish most of my blender bottle after my workout which is just money down the drain. *Packaging: BSN's packaging engineers decided it was a good idea to poke a series of holes in the top of the induction seal, likely to help the bottle deal with pressure changes during shipping (through mountain ranges, flying at 35k feet, etc.). This critical seal is designed not only to keep the product fresh by disallowing air and other contaminates to be introduced into the bottle, but also designed to protect the product from adulteration after the manufacturing process. This was introduced into consumable goods packaging after Tylenol batches were purposefully contaminated in 1982, resulting in multiple deaths. These two changes are a perfect storm of bad product quality from a consumer perspective. Think about it start to finish: I receive a bottle of freshly produced BSN intra-workout. I open the bottle, and find holes in the seal - fine. Then I take a drink and notice an odd flavor. My mind instantly connects the two and I think "has this product been altered?". OK - I work in consumer products, I understand everything that has happened here. However the typical consumer will not understand and your brand will suffer as a result of these changes. Please reconsider your decisions and in the future I recommend in home use testing before you commercialize these very important changes.
