Great Earth
Vallejo doesn’t disappoint. This earth texture is great. Spread it thin to make it looked like tamped down earth or give it some thickness for a rough muddy look. Clean up is easy.. if you have a bit in the edges if you base some damp paper will clean it right up.. drying time takes a while but it’s def worth it.. or use a hair dryer to speed it up.. the color is great , it’s a huge tub so def worth the price. It’s def a great product and you’ll have it for a good amount of time.

Excellent
Vallejo coming in clutch with the value. There is really not comparison value wise with this basing material between offerings by Games Workshop. I love Armageddon Dunes but you can barely complete a squad of ten with one pot. At about $8.00 that is just not feasible in this economy! This is much more reasonable as the material just goes SO MUCH farther. Please note: if you're used to GW desert basing this dries INCREDIBLY light. It is a very bright, pale sandy color. I have found shading it down and adding additional natural sand for added texture and color is the trick. So it may take an extra few minutes to apply a wash or some additional material to get a nice finished look, where as GW is slap it down and go, but I can tell you this tub will allow you to base AN ARMY and not just a squad. Save yourself some money, get a tub, and get hobbying.

Amazing terrain material
Amazing looking material. It is reasonably priced for the size of the container. And yes the container seem small but I've found it stretches on several projects. Shown in the video is one layer applied and cured. I will be applying one more layer for final coat. Great for first timer getting into the hobby that have some money to spend.

Just What You Need!
This was my first time purchasing a basing product like this, as I usually paint/detail bases myself. However, I wanted something with some more texture and flair to help my minis stand out. I wasn't sure how much I would like it, but after trying it, I think that this is a pretty nifty product. It textures ground well, giving your flat surface little bumps and ridges. The brown itself looks great plain (I left it as is on my terrain pieces); it looks a bit wet when dry, so if you aren't going for a muddy/semi-wet appearance, it is a good idea to do a light coat over the top. The amount that comes in the jar should be enough to get many minis based. While the jar might look full when it first arrives, there is likely a large air pocket in the middle; by the time everything settles, it's about 3/4 full (I noticed this with Vallejo's other Ground Texture "Grey Sand"). Even with that, it doesn't take much to cover a surface. It took maybe 1.5 loaded brushes to cover a piece of terrain 20 cm x 7 cm, and only one coat to get it to the point that I wanted. I would definitely recommend!

Recommended for any hobbyist looking for fast basing and fillers
Vallejo texture pastes are a big time saver. I've gotten a large variety over my hobby journey and prefer these as fillers and fast/durable base texture. Sometimes I'll still throw a wash or drybrush on them after they've dried for a little more dimension, but some colors work well enough as is. When they dry they're a little big rubbery feeling, so not just like sand and glue, but I think this adds to the durability as it wont flake off or break easily. These go on sale for decent prices and you don't need much per base, so theyre good value.

Great product! Give it a try! Protect the lid!!
Vallejo makes some really good products, and these textures are no outlier. This is a paste that spreads easier than peanut butter, has a thinner consistency and stickiness, is pretty easy to sculpt as needed, and is even paintable if wanted. I've not tried it, but I think it you could even thin it some with water if wanted, for a different style of texture. The biggest issue I have is the lid that came with my jar is so thin it cracked while trying to open it. Since this is subject to hardening when exposed to air, I keep losing the top layer, depending on time btwn uses and have to scrape it off to get more out. This just wastes product. If I could find a replacement lid, I'd be happier. -Jim

Great for basing
Nice texture. Applies easily. Gritty texture was nice when using it as it had teh correct appearance for hardened magma flows for my B2 droids for Star Wars Legion. Thick but applies smoothly to prepared surfaces. Once hardened it has acceptable adhesion to the bases.

Easy asphalt
Very realistic in scale. Results were awesome. Easy to use right from jar. Asphalt has never been easier.

Estoy fabricando un terrario para iguana, cuando lo tenga casi acabado pasaré fotos.
Muy buen producto, fácil aplicación, con espátula o pincel de punta, es la textura que esperaba. Muy buena compra.

One of the best texture pastes on the market.
Works really well for giving a textured surface, particularly over other materials like cork, it's easily applied, covers in a single thick coat, and takes paint exceptionally well. I decided I wanted desert bases, so I painted it, but the natural earth colour is good enough if basing models quickly is your goal, I'm pleased with the finished results. It's also worth pointing out, you get a heck of a lot in a single tub.
