Such great customer service. It wasn't working properly when we received it. Sent it back and they fixed if, no charge. It now works great and we are very happy with it. Thank you.

When this arrived I contacted the sender to tell him that it was displayed with a remote control but wasn't sent with one. He apologized and sent me one. However, when I received the remote it didn't work on the machine. I wasn't able to set anything. Also, it is now eating the tape when I try to record. I rarely use that machine - it's not as if I used it every day. It was used no more than 10 times.

We are converting some VHS tapes before they disintegrate. We found this in the Amazon Outlet, ordered it, and used if for approximately two weeks. It worked well! Not too many thrills with this VCR, but rewind, fast forward, pause and play all worked fine. Machine was delivered in a timely fashion.

The VCR works like new. It was packed well and arrived in a few days. Personally, I think it's important to have the same brand with each component in your system- it just makes sense. Now I have a Sony VCR to match my Sony DVD player and TV. This is exactly what I was looking for but I guess receiving the owner's manual with it was expecting a little too much. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and I'd buy from this website again.

Grainy recording; no remote included. It suffices but falls short of a five star rating for these reasons.

The item arrived packaged well. No cables. No remote. But I think that was as advertised. No worries anyway because I'm just trying to convert my old performance tapes and some home movies. Unfortunately, this particular unit ate every tape I tried. It's probably par for the course for this old technology. I'm probably just going to suck it up and pay the exorbitant transfer prices at CVS rather than lose another precious tape to an old player shipped through the mail.

Delivered as promised. Seller clearly stated it was well used and had no remote or accessories and wont last forever. Promised he tested every one and this seems to work fine. Had the feeling that the seller stands behind his word. Converting A LOT of old tapes so this will probably go eventually and I will have to buy another. I would buy form this seller
