The only place to go if you're still on the market for actual TAB books not downloads. A superb book in just about every way, just like the dozens of others I've purchased for guitar & Bass over the years. This one was at a great price, so thanks very much to the seller.

I'm reviewing the print book rather than the Kindle edition. This is the "Guitar Recorded Versions" book published by Hal Leonard, who also publishes a similar-looking version which is a "Guitar Tablature Edition". On the whole, I'd say this version is more accurate in its transcriptions. The Guitar Tablature Edition includes pictures of the album artwork, images from the film, pictures of the band members, and includes the lyrics with artwork in addition to within the notation. This book is a little more "let's get to the point" and just has the music. If you're a guitarist wanting a no-nonsense get-down-to-business tablature edition of the songs from The Wall, this is probably the better choice. Though I paid the same for both books, this one is less expensive on the back cover. It's also lighter - 146 pages versus 240-ish - so it'll sit on a stand better and open flatter, etc. Both books are the music from the Album, not the Film (the film contains different arrangements of some of the songs, as well as additional songs beyond what the Album has). In addition to fairly thorough inclusion of all of the guitar parts, including 4 part harmonies in some instances, the Piano and other Keyboard/Orchestral parts are often included as "Piano Arranged for Guitar" staves, so for those bands without Keys, this would help a Guitarist figure out those additional parts and fake them on guitar where necessary. (The other book does a better job at the Piano/Keys parts in standard notation if anyone is looking for that). The tablature also seems pretty accurate. I haven't checked every single little thing, but it's pretty spot on. The other book, while nicer in terms of more goodies, takes a little more license with some of the songs. But most of things are little things - like playing a note on the 4th string rather than 3rd, or playing some licks in a different position, or whether a chord is 3 or 4 notes, and simple things like that. Since I paid the same for both books, it's really a toss up - the Guitar Tablature Edition version is a nicer book overall in terms of extra goodies, but the Guitar Authentic Versions book this review is about is more accurate overall.
