plenty of options and fitting advice
The book itself is very pretty and the collection of clothes look contemporary yet still classic, like scandinavian design has a good reputation for. It looks like you can build a great wardrobe out of the pieces.I chose the book because I have tried a few patterns and am curious about learning how to make better adjustments to pattern for more tailored clothes (usually too big/small on the bust or hip). I've only been sewing since last year (other than for my GCSEs way back) but with the amount of instructions and fitting advice in this book, I'm really looking forward to getting started. There are instructions showing you options for modifying each pattern to your own measurements, which you can then easily transfer to the next garment you make from the 6 blocks/sets (20 garments + mix n match variations). There are also extra tips suggesting simple pattern hacks. The models in the book are a range of sizes, so I can get a bit of an idea about how the clothes might hang on my own body, though the size chart doesn't go further than UK high street sizing, up to hip 124cm, full bust 116cm.On the pattern sheets there are links and a code to download the pdfs to print out rather than trace if that's your jam, either as A4 to print at home, or A0 for printshops (eg Patternsy, Fabulosew etc).
