Will this evaptor off or gum up when used on long term (6mo to a couple years) storage?

I've used it for years and haven't seen it oxidize or get gummy. It seems to keep a "creeping" layer of oil/PTFE available, but adding felt washers to your application (if possible) could help ensure it stays that way.

Can you use this product on plastic gears or is there another product for that?

Yes, I have used it on plastic, composite, and nylon gears with no cases of it attacking the materials. I don't know of anything I wouldn't use it on.

Does this bottle come with a mini applicator hose?
