Using this set with a Nalgene Canteen in a canteen/survival kit. Weight is good, size is perfect. Quality and value are great! I can highly recommend this set!

It fits the 1 qt standard issue canteen and can go inside your standard issue pouch. The cup cover can also slide in on the backside of the pouch and speeds up your boil time for cooking. Both are steel so no need to worry about getting aluminum in your bones. Need I say more?

First of all this is made in China. I was expecting cheap aluminum passed of as steel. And it may be because this is not true stainless, but Chinese steel, which is flimsier than military issue, but the cup seems pretty solid. The joints are solid, and the cover packs down nicely on the unit. The plastic 1 qt military issue canteen fits great (looser than mil spec though) and the canteen stove fits good to.If you have military experience and have used these, you know these things sucked to begin with when it comes to fitting the stove. I have my original (80's) issued stove, but lost the cup somewhere along the line. This is slightly smaller than mil spec, but it still works on the stove, especially if you angle it sideways.It fits in the stove a little looser the original cup..........but is easier to get on and off. Sure, you can bend the stove frame, add a small grill, or just angle the cup on the stove. Same thing I did in Army to get the airflow working properly.The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I haven't cooked anything in yet other than water, and since this is Chinese steel, I don't expect this hold up as long, but for 12 bucks..........it will do what I need it to do.

I bought this cup to pair with my canteen that was issued to me while I was in the Army back in the ‘90s. I needed a new one since I lost my original during a move. This one actually seems a little nicer, and the lid is a big bonus.

Just received it. Haven't used it yet, but seems like it'll do what it needs to. The lid fits the cup well. The cup fits a Rothco GI style canteen and it will all fit into a surplus GI canteen pouch

I was surprised, it's well made and able to work hard.

This is the biggest piece of junk I've seen yet...it is made of stainless, but it's so thin, how they can say it's military grade is beyond me....if I was a company I'd be ashamed to put my name on it....it's not worth my money.
