Great box hinges!
I used these hinges to make a bird house and the work wonderfully to open the roof.

A little shorter than anticipated but they should do the job
The roof of a squirrel feeder we have included some small brass hinges that didn't last very long. The size of the hinges made attaching them difficult, It only took a few times of lifting the roof to add food to the chamber before the hinges came undone.,The feeder absorbed a fair amount of abuse by the blue jays and squirrels who dined at the unit. The screws didn't last and they were soon lost. Trying a longer hinge makes sense to me and it may solve the problem. We will see as time passes.

Attractive sturdy hinges.
I use these hinges to attach top and bottom of boxes. They are inexpensive and do a nice job of connecting the top and bottom of the boxes while looking nice in the process.
