25 horizontal lines per page. Distance between lines is 5/16th of an inch. Page dimensions are 9 inches deep by 6 inches wide. One vertical line in the center of the page. All lines are faint but easily visible.

Does this pad contain 80 pages ( 40 sheets ) or 80 sheets ( 160 pages ) ?

40 sheets, 80 pages, and substantial pages they are. Great steno pad, and worth the price, which was more than I ever expected to pay for a steno pad.

Does this pad have a line down the middle (not the side margin)?

Yes, it has a faint line down the center of each page. I never noticed it until now. The line is the same thickness as the ruled lines.
