How does this compare to other facial products for dry skin, such as clinique's dramatically different cream or egyptian magic?

I don't think of this as something you would use as a facial cream although I suppose you could if you had extremely dry skin. I'm not familiar with Egyptian Magic. Clinique's Dramatically Different Cream is a much lighter moisturizer than Theraplex.

Is is a white cream or clear like vaseline

It is clear like vaseline and has no odor. It works great after showering, bathing, or general washing. I really love it as it works well with my eczema medicine, and really protects skin.

What is the difference between this and the Healing Emolient?

The healing emolient is much thicker and tackier.. I use this on my feet when I trail run to prevent blisters .. I use the barrier balm on my face to protect against wind and cold when skiing or any other sport
