Good Technology But Difficult To set Up
Doesn’t work with my MacBook, I can only Wi-Fi Direct.Not recommended if you have MacBook.Edit….Amazing! I recently bought a used Surface Pro 7, I connected a USB printer cable and it took seconds to recognize this printer!!!! And I was able to print immediately! So it’s safe to say the printer was designed to work with Windows-based computer.

I HAVE HAD EPSON PRINTERS THE CARTRIDGE TYPE AND THEY ALL WERE A PAIN BECAUSE EVERY TIME THE INK RAN OUT IT WAS A NIGHTMARE TO REPLACE THE INK BECAUSE EVERY TIME YOU PUT A NEW CARTRIDGE IN IT WOULD COME UP NOT RECONISED ALTHOUGH IT WAS A NEW ONE,,,BUT SINCE I BROUGHT THIS ECO TANK I DOES WHAT IT SAYS ITS EASY TO USE QUICKER TO PRINT AND SO EASY TO FILL AND THE PRICE OF THE INK IS THE SAME AS THE CARTRIDGE ONES BUT YOU GET 5 TIMES THE INK...I WILL SAY TO LOAD THE SOFTWEAR TAKES QUITE A LONG TIME BUT ONCE ITS LOADED ITS EASY TO USE AND YOU DONT HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE PRINTER TO WARM UP...UNFORTUNATLY THIS IS A BLACK AND WHITE PRINTER AND IT DOES NOT SCAN OR PHOTO COPY. BUT I THINK IT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY IF YOU REQUIRE A COLOUR SCAN COPY THEN YOU COULD UPGRADE AND PAY THE £80 MORE.....

when I received the package the box was not in good condition, the it will not test print. means that item is not working at all

Ink tank is great
I bought a hp printer before the lock down and I couldn’t get hp304 black ink anywhere, it was out of stock for a few weeks, but my work needs lots of black and white printing, had to get a second printer. And this ET-M1100 is the cheapest when I search for Ecotank printer, it prints faster, the ink tank is super value for money, not like the other types of printers which needs ink replacement every month. Printed about a hundred of pages yesterday after received, couldn’t spot any ink level drop. Compare to the other ink cartridge that can only print 120 pages.If you just need for your home office and printing homework for kids regularly, i.e. don’t need color printing or scan/fax, this one is the best choice.ET-M1100 needs a usb type A to type B line to connect computer and the printer. That’s not included in the package. Make sure you have one if you are buying that model, because the model I got is not WiFi connected.Just an update after 6 months purchase: I nearly finished up with the bottle of ink that was delivered within the printer box. So one bottle of ink could last about 6 months, one bottle is only £11. This is sooooo value for money.

This printer comes with NO usb cable. Unusable out of the box.
This printer comes without the usb cable. There is no other way possible to set it up without one. Having opened the package ready to use. I was then unable to for another two days!Print quality fine, limited use.
