Glo Skin Beauty Pressed Base Powder Foundation, Chestnut Medium 0.92 oz

My favorite makeup! I switched a few years ago to this makeup. As I got older I noticed that my makeup was settling in my lines and wrinkles! Actually this does also but not nearly as bad! (I haven't yet found a makeup that doesn't!) It feels lighter and easier to apply. You can smooth away lines with your finger and your good as new!

My dermatologist's office stopped selling this brand, so I was very happy to be able to order it from Amazon. Use a kabuki brush, and the coverage is VERY good. As good as a concealer (I do not use this under my eyes). Even though I usually wear pink tones, it is the Golden Light that matches my fair, Winter skin the best. I've been using Glo compacts for many many years. Just don't drop it. The cake of powder does break up pretty easily if you drop it hard. On my skin, this powder does not look cakey, or settle into my wrinkles and creases. And it stays on all day.

I love this powder foundation. When shopping for a foundation, I have two problems. First, I am 63 years old with fine lines. I have tried even foundations claiming to be formulated for mature skin and they don’t camouflage the fine lines as well as this one. Second, I have cool, medium toned skin and have a hard time finding the right color. Most cosmetic companies seem to think that only pale people have pink toned skin. When I look to the darker shades they get either too orange or too taupe for me. Glo’s Beige Medium is just right.

Fantastic full coverage and light weight. I like that it’s a powder but covered like foundation. Expensive though

The shade is lighter than my old one which matched perfectly. It still covers blemishes and imperfections well with a natural look.

So I have been searching for a great powder foundation one that doesn’t look cakey or feel heavy on my skin. Some years ago I was wearing Mac studio fix powder foundation then I switched to it Cosmetics celebration foundation and I was very happy with that so fast-forward to a few months ago it Cosmetics has discontinued their powder foundations! So I have a tried several powder foundations, including MAC again nothing comes close, so I remembered having used glo in the past when it was glo mineral foundation. I have tried a couple of different colors not quite sure which one I’m going to land on, but both are very close to what I’m looking for. Very nice texture. Looks great on your skin and I think more people should be purchasing this so I would highly recommend it to anyone.
