OXO Outdoor Grilling Basting Pot and Brush Set

Picked up the OXO Good Grips Grilling Tools Basting Pot and Brush and it’s been a great addition to the smoker setup. I’ve used it on ribs, turkey, and chicken so far, and it handles everything easily. The brush holds a good amount of sauce without dripping everywhere, and it spreads evenly without tearing up the meat or bark—which is huge when you’ve got a good cook going. The pot is actually more useful than I expected. Keeps everything contained and easy to dip into without juggling cups or making a mess around the grill. It just makes the whole process smoother. Best test was glazing an Easter ham with a pineapple habanero glaze, and it came out awesome. The brush laid it on evenly and made it easy to build up that nice sticky finish without overdoing it. Build quality is what you’d expect—solid, comfortable grip, and easy to clean. Nothing feels cheap or like it’s going to fall apart after a few cooks. If I had to nitpick, I’d say just be mindful of how hot your setup is when you set the pot down—but that’s more user awareness than a flaw. Overall, super practical tool that just works. If you’re grilling or smoking regularly, this is one of those small upgrades that makes a noticeable difference.

I really like OXO products, as they are well designed, and very sturdy. However, the downside is that they are priced above comparable products. This basting pot is heavy duty, and has some heft to it, so it's unlikely going to be blown off the bbq table, or tipped over by accident. It comes with a silicone lid which is great, and the brush works well. However, the brush handle is a little short vs the full sized/length basing brush. Overall, I do recommend this product, but it's very expensive for what you get. You can prob make due with a small pot or cup you already have around the house, but if you want to splurge, for a basting cup and brush, I would recommend this set!

I needed a gift for my husband and bought him this. He doesn’t use it much as it’s basically just one more thing to clean. No one really needs this

Nice Heavy weight container that does not tip over when the brush is in. I like that it has a silicone lid that fits with the brush in. The brush works great, it holds the BBQ sauce well to you can spread onto the food. It is dishwasher- the brush and the container. I recommend this container, best one I have ever had.

Great bbq or sauce container. Does not tip over when the bbq brush is in it plus dishwasher safe! Great product!

Great gift for my bbq loving husband!

Product is fine. However I bought it as a gift and the packaging looks so beat up, the cardboard is all bent and the brush was attached with zip ties but they are cut and now the brush was just in a bag, looks like it was a returned item at some point. Disappointed in the packaging as I bought it as a gift and it looks used. Saying that the brush is nice and the container has a nice weight to it so it shouldn't tip over. As it's a gift I won't have the chance to try it out to give a better review of the product itself.
