Works well!
Installation is a bit fiddly. I have a bike with round forks at least half way down. The rubber bracket looked like it wanted to be installed on the flattened part of the fork, but then was too far away from the unit to pick up. I called Cat Eye, and a nice support guy told me I could just squish the rubber down on the round part. He also mentioned that the bracket allowed the sensor to lean in to make it close enough to get a signal from the wheel magnet. Just what I needed to know. It all works now, in spite of the computer being installed an inch up on the bracket for my removable basket, rather than my handle bars. Loved knowing my average speed, current speed, time, elapsed time, distance, and calories. Computer stops when you stop the bike, so it's keeping track of just riding time. Auto start. Very happy with the features and readability. Easy to set up the computer. My last Planet Bike unit was almost impossible to set. This is straight forward. Good price point. Would buy again.

Good value bike computer
I'm a low tech guy and I really like this computer. Simple set up, installation and use. Despite others' negative comments on the sleep mode, I really like this feature because it conserves the battery. Similarly with negative comments about no back lit screen- this only matters if you ride in the dark (which I don't). As far as not being a rechargeable battery, I don't want to have to pull off the sensor to recharge it. That would be impractical. This is a solid computer, so if you are like me, you will like it. I will report back later as I learn more about it's durability and reliability.

Good for bikes without dynamo hubs
The good ------------ -Easy to setup -Don't have to deal with wire management -Straight forward to program, just a matter of familiarizing and getting used to setting up the device with the front and rear buttons, accompanied with the instruction manual/map. -Nice clear display of statistics and how fast you're going -Battery seems to last for ages, being a CR2032 battery The bad ----------- -No back lighting, so can't really see what's going on if it's dark outside. -Wireless transmitter suffers from EM interference, as I found out when mounting it on my bicycle that has a front wheel dynamo hub. It would register going 65mph even though I'm just spinning the front wheel to test if it works, with 700c selected during the setup process. Tried mounting the transmitter on the rear forks to eliminate possible interference, but the computer no longer would receive any signal unless the magnet is about 1/16" away from contacting the unit, probably received a lemon? Not so much a big deal as it happens from time to time every now and then. Neutral/Unrelated ---------------------- Just a basic computer, basically comparing apples to oranges when it comes to more advanced units by Garmin or Wahoo Usually would prefer to stick to the wired Cateye Velo for a sturdier more reliable transmission between magnetic sensor and computer

Cateye is the cat's meow
I've been using Cateye bike computers for over 2 decades and they never cease to impress. This is my first wireless unit, purchased to replace a Cateye I've been using for over a dozen years to move into the wireless era. I was a little hesitant given some is the reviews but it's obvious to me that some folks just have a hard time following simple install directions. Screen is clear and easy to read at a glance. Very accurate. Easy to set and navigate the menu. Along with the ability to finely tune the wheel/tire circumference, the ability to set the odometer when replacing an older computer is great. All in all, I couldn't be happier with this purchase and am very glad I went with the wireless version.

Another Cateeye quality product.
The display is large enough to see and understand. It shuts off automatically. With a bit of a challenge, I mounted the sensor on the back tire, which works. The signal doesn't reach the handle bar, so I mounted the display on the men's cross bar, which is working well. The goal was to be able to see how far and fast I'm using the stationary bike mount for my 10 speed. O have a Cateye headlight and tail light that has worked since 2005.

Good value
I’ve checked the mileage on this several times against measured miles and it’s dead on, and I’ve checked the speed against other much more expensive computers with riding companions and it’s also right on with speed. Basic, good bike computer that’s very easy to install.

A Reliable Basic Computer
Typical Cateye quality and durability. I have no desire for any type of GPS computer. All I need is ride time, distance, avg speed and time. Easy to install and set up on my Orbea Occam LT. As a side note, this is replacing a Cateye Micro wireless with the 'Click Tec' style button that is probably better suited to a road bike as the bumping from MTB use was constantly activating the button.

Decent accessory, but mountings are flimsy
I have been using Cateye cycle computers since the days of the Solar II (the one I bought in the 80s still works). When I put a new bike together, I needed a basic computer for it. This looked like a good fit for a bike with hydraulic disc brakes, as there's no good way to route a wire from the fork to the handlebar. The computer and magnetic pickup work well. The pickup is less persnickety than the ones that came with the wired models I bought in the 90s (those still work and I am still using them). The display is clear and bright, but I think it's too big for what it does, and everything on the screen is controlled from a single button. To change or initialize the settings, you have to use the two small buttons on the bottom of the device, which you can't get to while it's mounted. Installation was easy, but everything is done with 2 mm zip ties. They supply 4 of them, with no extras. Two are needed to mount the sensor to the fork, and two more are needed to mount the mounting bracket to the handlebar. By contrast, my old wired computers have sturdy clamp-on mounts secured with screws. They also have rubber bushings to fit a variety of handlebars and forks. Once secured, they stay put until you loosen the screws. If you want to remove the computer and sensor for some reason, you don't need to buy anything new to reinstall them. The handlebar mount is flimsy, just a piece of thin plastic with some holes for the ties. There is no rubber sleeve to help secure the mount, so it rotates easily on the bar. This is a flat bar with a 31.8mm mounting diameter, so there's quite a bit of taper. I had to mount it near the brake lever. Even so, it's not too secure. I didn't want to tug any harder on the zip ties for fear of breaking them. It is also quite difficult to dismount the computer once it's snapped into the handlebar mount. Unlike older Cateye mounting brackets, there is no release mechanism. You have to push hard on the bottom of the device to pop it out of the mount. Since the mount is not securely fastened to the handlebar to begin with, this is annoying. The fork mount has an adhesive strip to help position the sensor prior to lashing it down. This is a good idea only if you're never going to take it off the bike. Like the bar mount, there is no rubber bushing to help keep it in place. You can make your own - this is a good use for old inner tubes - but they don't work as well and they don't look good. Initial setup is relatively easy, but setting the wheel circumference is a nuisance. I accepted the default setting for a 26" wheel at first, but after a couple of 20+ mile rides, comparing the total distance with the distance recorded by my phone's GPS showed that it wasn't a reasonable approximation of my actual wheel circumference. You can fine-tune the wheel circumference to a resolution of 1 cm, as with older Cateye computers, but that means taking it off the bike. This is still a reasonably priced computer that I would recommend to anyone who can live with the shortcomings. My experience with Cateye computers has been that they work almost forever, and I would still rather purchase one of these than any of the no-name computers that sell for a little less.

Perfecto

Simple reliable
Sometimes all you need is distance travelled and speed. Loved the compact and no fuss display. Good value and sturdy and love the size. Had one for another bike. Wireless is great, some wiring but easy to follow. Setting the wheel is a bit more complicated and less intuitive. Once done it just all works!!

Basico
Muy basico, no me gustó que no trae siquiera luz de fondo lo cual otras marcas por muy basicas si lo tienen
