Had a great aluminum flag pole but it came with cheap plastic rings. They lasted about a year and the pole looked brand new still. So I went searching for a solution and found these and so glad I did. They been up a few weeks now and they are easy to install, swivels work better than originals and are built really sturdy. The set screws work well and they have not moved at all even been through a storm with strong winds

Given all the high wonderful events WWE have experienced lately these metal flag pole rings are very durable. Easy to install and position appropriately. Had a hard time locating metal fittings in big box stores. Everyone was for 1" diameter poles. These are very well made, nicely finished and easy to set up. Kit comes with correct Allen wrench for set screw tightening and all the right parts. Definitely worth versus constantly replacing the cheaper less durable traditional plastic flag pole fittings.

Bought as a replacement for another set of flag pole rings which wore out after 3 years. We have family in the military so my flag flies 24/7/365, and the wind twisting and turning the flag finally wore them out. The rings keep my flag from twisting around the pole and keeps it flying free in the breeze. I'm pleased with the wat they function and their durability.

These flag holders work really well until the part that rotates with the flag gets worn. At that point they will start binding in the slot and won't rotate as well as when new. You would be tempted to put a little oil in the slot but that would be a bad move. It will make them rotated easier but the oil will pick up the aluminum dust made by the wear and will move it where it can contact the flag. This will but a black stain on the flag if it gets wrapped around the pole or brushes against the holders in the wind.If they get worn enough they are binding and the flag is wrapping, just replace them with new ones. Do not lubricate.

Seem well made and sturdy. Fit perfectly.

I bought a 40-dollar Costco flag kit. It worked, and I love the mounting bracket, but the clips that hold the flag are cheap plastic. They stretch and bend, and eventually, the flag does not flow, it wraps. I had to break the upper clips on the pole with pliers. These worked like a charm. Even in high Colorado wind, the flag is unfurled and waving in the breeze. Does my veteran heart good. Solid upgrade to a crap offering from Costco and Virginia Flag Company.

Look great. Loved how my flag hu g. But —— one of the rings just didn’t spin easily and flag kept getting tangled up. May just be the set I got.

The ones that came with my flag pole were plastic and didn’t last a year. These are a metal alloy and look like they’ll last a long time!
