Cookware as art
OK - so $600 is a lot for a pan. I get it - BUT - this is not just a pan; it is the ultimate example. I equate this to a Japanese knife made by a master, and it falls in the category of you want it or you don't. Someone has brought a utilitarian item (cooking pan) and put it on a pedestal as a museum quality item. I applaud Hestan for going the extra mile and creating a phenomenal item. Every time I use it, I will smile and it will add another dimension to cooking.
