Backlit Bluetooth Keyboard for iPad Mini, iPad Mini Retina and iPad Mini 3 (SK365BKLT-BLK)

I just recieved this keyboard a couple days ago and I am in love. While the keyboard is small and takes a little getting used to, the keys are in typical laptop format and allow for easy typing and use. Getting used to using the fn funtion for a couple typical typing functions such as apostrophes and quotation marks is slightly challenging, but no harder then learning to use the keyboard itself.The look of the outside of the case is very sleek. I loved that it is not the typical cheap plastic one sometimes comes to expect when attempting to buy a cheap keyboard case for such a device. The soft matte finish is of good quality and nice to look at.I am currently using the keyboard to type this review and upon repeated use have become more and more satisfied with the product. The keys are very easy to type with and i have no trouble pressing the keys down. They are also relatively quiet, a good quality that I have noticed on many of the reviews of similar keyboards is a big issue. The bluetooth also paired flawlessly with my iPad mini with no trouble. It also shipped and was at my doorstep within 2 days of ordering even though I had selected the free 3-5 buisiness day shipping so I was thoroughly pleased with the time it took to get it. The keyboard has a couple other cool functions like buttions for copying/cutting/pasting in addition to allowing one to change the language setting too just like when using the on-screen iPad keyboard. Also includes buttions to change/pause/play songs which i thought was a nice addition since apple is known for their MP3 players. Finally theres a button to turn the blacklight on and off right on the keyboard. This blacklight includes 7 different colors and is nice to use in the dark. It also gives the keyboard a more expensive feel and just in general is a nice touch. Battery life seems excellent especially since I got it the 23rd of december and havent charged it yet.Overall the experience of this keyboard is great! Despite the small size I think its the perfect ipad mini keyboard case and is definitely a great value. I will recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for an ipad keyboard!

This is my first purchase from Sharkk and I have to say I was not disappointed. In fact I am using this product to type this review.It comes in well designed packaging and was very easy to set up. I had no problem fitting my iPad mini retina into it even with an invisible shield protector on the back. Pairing was very simple. Just turn on the bluetooth setting on the iPad and then turn on the keyboard and push the pairing button. Once the iPad recognizes the keyboard it will ask for a key code. The key code only has to be entered when pairing the first time. After the first pairing you simply turn the keyboard on and press a key and it instantly pairs.A big reason I chose this case over the Sharkk Clamshell or other competing cases was for it's backlit feature. It comes with 7 different colors to choose from. In fact it's so easy to switch the colors that I'll use one color, and my wife will change it to another when she uses it.I am very pleased with the level of quality that this case has. It feels well made and is very protective. I have a 2 year old that likes to use it for games and with this case I don't have to worry too much about the iPad getting scratches or dings. The only complaint and the main reason that I gave this product 4 stars is because of how heavy this case is. It could be because it has to counteract the weight of the iPad to keep from tipping, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having a lightweight device. Also, although the case itself is easy to grip, you'll find yourself cleaning the case a lot because of the smudges and fingerprints that easily appear on it's surface. All in all though these are minor problems. If I could I would have given it 4.5 stars to be more accurate.The battery on the keyboard is amazing! I have had the case for about a week now and have used it everyday for several hours minimum each day and have yet to charge it. I've also found the function keys that run across the top row to be very useful. I've even been pleasantly surprised to discover that some of the hot key features for mac users work on the iPad too! For example command+c to copy command+t to open a new tab in safari, and many others allow basic functions to be completed just as quickly as if you were on a real mac desktop. The only gripe I have about the keyboard is the location of some of the keys. Due to the mini size some of the keys had to be moved to different locations to keep the individual key size usable. For example the question mark is usually located by the right shift key, but on this keyboard it is located to the right of the spacebar. Just a minor thing that takes some getting used to. But I have tried out several other keyboard cases for the mini and the key size on this Sharkk case is much larger and more responsive than it's competitors.Overall I would recommend this case to anyone. It's been fun to open it up in meetings and have people ask what it is and show them all of the useful features. I would definitely purchase this item or any other Sharkk item again. If you have any doubts about getting this, just get it. You won't be disappointed.

I just received my case and keyboard today and was very surprised at how reliable it seemed after just opening the box. The keyboard had a very classy feel to it with the shine and keyboard was very laid out in a very comfortable way. I was able to use it without a problem. It has a very useful light under the keyboard so that you're able to use it in the dark which is controlled by a keypad button. The case is a nice sleek black case. In your hands, it's a little heavier than it seems. But it's wonderfully sturdy. It has a great sleep mode feature when you close your case. Indicators for your cap locks, battery, and blue tooth. My favorite feature was the rotation capability: it being able to be moved in a variety of angles with or without your keyboard (in use).Little things that I think could be improved on are:The weight of the keyboard- If it was slightly heavier I think it wouldn't sometimes knock over as easily.Light feature- I think the light feature should be used on the letters of the keys as well as under them. It helps in the dark, but I think for those of us who can't quite touch type, it would be a great help. Plus it just looks a little coolers.(Optional opinion)- Multi-color light features- If in the menu somewhere you can change the color of the backlight I think it could draw consumers into buying it more. People do love their colors after all.I think it would be great to move the light switch to a side button on the keyboard, because if somebody accidentally touches the button near the space bar. Whoops! There goes your light.These are my opinions so far and I will update it as I use it. But so far, one of the greatest cases and keyboards I've bought and seen so far (I've bought a lot) and very much worth the buck!

Cheap and best in this category . what i like most in this is , it's 360 degree swivel feature , which are only offered by cases costlier than this . it feels little heavy in hand , but you won't notice it if you place it on table. one of the best product in this category. I didn't know how comfortable a keyboard case is until i started using it..
