There is not much to say about an extension lead. It needs to be robust, which it is. Made with good quality components, which it sees to be. Be good value for money, which it is. The cable is rubbery and flexible unlike some that feel a bit thin and brittle, and the bright yellow colour makes it very good for outdoor use with power tools, lawn mowers etc where it helps not to run over the wire. I use mine for welders, grinders, compressors and a plasma cutter; probably more than its meant for and I unroll it completely to minimise heating and its completely fine. The drum itself is a bit flimsy compared to fully professional versions but they cost a lot more. The cable is the main thing and that's perfectly good.

Being heavy duty .. it has no problem powering my Stihl jet wash and it is long enough to go almost all around our property .. good quality winding / cable reel

This is a fantastic extension with security features that stop machinery from getting damaged. The wind up cord is easy to use and does not tangle at all as some reviews say it’s perfect sit its place and freely allows more extension with no effort and equally the wind is great for I have arthritis in both hands and fingers and it’s the easiest to use safe extension I have used yet.so it’s a perfect yes I would highly recommend the uses of this extension to anyone

I volunteer for a charity and we run taster sessions to get disabled adults and children into cycling. We needed a decent length extension cable to bring power to our lockup from a hut around 35m away, so this lead provides sockets close enough so that we can put our e-bike batteries on charge, and also provide power to our tea urn. Power capability was important, as one of my own extension leads I used previously kept cutting out as the tea urn required a couple of KW, which the lead couldn't cope with. This SLX version is rated at a full 13 amps so will handle up to around 3KW, easily enough for the 2KW urn plus three 160W chargers. Build wise it's ok, the handle is sturdy but the plastic cable guide a bit flimsy. It's acceptable though, and the price at around £40 was competitive.

It is easy to use

Cable and holder is fine but the 3 pin plug ( well in mine ) doesn't fit very well and can easily lose it's connection.

For home use only made of cheap materials.

it came to me from London and I thought it will be high quality; sadly, that wasn't the case. it was cheap Chinese.
