4R70E-W/75E-W Super Tuff Seperator Plate

I recommend a sharpie to annotate your nice new piece of valve body plating.This does end up being better than a factory 2008 crown vic with 4r75E transmissionas in the holes are bigger already.There is easy pickings on google on what to do. If you are Jmoding (which I am still in the works)Following the info on crownvic .net will help greatly.What I decided-Leave all springs in place. Check parts if need replacing Ill go back in. I have heard from bcawebstore that the sonnax valves are a harder material and wear into the channel faster. Only need the filter, gaskets, tuff plate and the drill bits to enlarge holes to my liking. Ofcourse Mercon V motorcraft trans fluid.Even though it came with a diagram about the two different variants I have no clue to what it means. One has smaller holes. Theres only a few holes mentioned by this product when there is a total of 11 holes to pay attention to in the Jmod. Really drive your car around stock while paying attention to shift characteristics forward and reverse. Increasing hole diameter increases fluid flow and reduces clutch wear.

This is a great solution to the factory separator plates which are prone to crack. Good price

Did a Jmod on a 06 Crown vic p71 and pre ordered this to use and I'm glad I did! Old one had cracks in it which made it junk. This is much stronger and worth the peace of mind.

I bought it cause it was reasonably priced and i was going to do a valve body drop, a jmod on my 2005 expedition. Good thing I did cause the stock flimsy plate had hair line cracks where one of the pistons rests. Very happy w the product. Noticeably sturdier plas it came with a support nipple for the plate to dissipate the pressure and preventing cracking again...👍

Its a very sturdy plate, more so than the original... Did not end up using it as my original turned out being okay...

There are two different plates available. Do your research.

Worked great - Follow instructions and the 4r70W has a nice super tuff plate that should not bend or warp. Mine went into a 2001 F150 Supercrew.
