The holder doesn't have a good fit around the vents and keeps falling. It also rattles. Unfortunately I haven't found a better option yet for the Q7.

This is pretty much the only phone mount specifically for the Audi Q7. It works fairly well and it fits over the ac vents without blocking air flow or movement of the vents themselves. But the mount is a little on the flimsy side and it didn't quite snapped into place. Its sturdy enough to hold your phone without issues but it feels like if you're not careful you could easily break it. With that little caveat, I would recommend this if you own a Q7.

If you own a Q7, get this cell phone mount. The base snaps into place over the vertical bar between the vents. The placement is excellent. Styling matches the rest of the interior. Base is molded plastic that could break, but you are unlikely to move it after the initial placement. I think this is perfect. Totally worth the money...two months later, still working perfectly. (Not recommended for landscape viewing.)

This mount works. It snaps onto the vent area as it said it would. It holds the phone as you would expect. However, it's so cheaply made it seems like something that would be sitting in a dollar bin at a store rather than costing $24. I fully expect this to break soon. Also, the normal highway travel vibrations makes the phone shake.

If there's a phone in it, it's perfect. Holds the phone steady and secure. If there's no phone in it, it rattles and sounds like cheap plastic which is completely annoying.

I have an Audi Q7 and a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra in the slimest case that incipio makes.The clamps are to small for the case an significantly to large for phone in no case.The holder pulls of the dash if you try to adjust the angle of the phone without 2 hands. Not safe when driving.EXPENSIVE JUNK. DO NOT BUY.
