The ABCs of CBM, First Edition: A Practical Guide to Curriculum-Based Measurement (The Guilford Practical Intervention in the Schools Series)

I had to purchase this book for a Special Education Assessment class. It is easy to read, not full of jargon, and comprehensive. The charts and tables for calculating scores are especially helpful.

This is a well written book for teachers especially teachers who work with students with special needs or learning disabilities.

I have referred to this book many times since purchase and have also lent it to colleagues. It is a practical guide for measuring and monitoring progress if you do not have access to tools such as Aims Web. The norms provided are reliable and easy to apply to student work. This book is definitely worth the investment.

This book was recommended by a collegue. Hopefully it will be useful for me throughout the school year. I intend to use it a lot this year to see how useful it is.

This book is a nice resource for us school psychologists who are trying to do more than just get by within the guidelines given to us by the school system. It is a book I will turn back to often.
