Well worth a read. It acts as a useful reference manual for advice on a host of situations whilst raising kids - babies to adolecents.

a book that is a virtual textbook for parents. have read and re-read mine countless number of time. recently gifted it to my colleague who is enjoying its benefits too. a gentle approach to child rearing...gentle for both the child and the parent.

Das beste Buch gerade für Eltern mit dem ersten Kind, einfach alles was man sich so fragen könnte ist drin, ob Ernährungsfragen oder Erziehungsfragen, alles wird abgedeckt, Schwerpunkt auf 0-3 Jahre , aber das Buch behandelt alle Themen bis 18.te Lebensjahr. Uns hat es gerade die ersten Lebenswochen sehr geholfen, wir schauen auch heute immer mal wieder rein. Und haben es bereits verschenkt und begeistertes Feedback bekommen, auch weil es so leicht runter zulesen ist. Wie die deutsche Ausgabe ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen.

Un livre riche en information sur des sujets assez varié. La seule chose pour le moment que je trouve insuffisant mais c'est le cas aussi dans d'autre livre que j'ai, c'est des conseils plus précis pour l'alimentation. Sinon je suis complètement satisfaite de mon achat, le prix est très intéressant également.

I bought this book 50 years ago as a young, new mother and found it gave me the confidence to solve my own problems regarding bringing up my daughter. I shall always be grateful for the advice and insight into the mind of my own little monkey's scheming mind. As a result I bought this copy as a gift for a new father of twins who I thought could do with the same down to earth advice. He tells me that it has proven the same brilliant support for him and his wife. I would recommend it to anyone who has no experience of babies and children. After all we all need to be one step ahead of these people who are much more clever than their parents.
