Very happy with what I received

These are very good, we had a different brand given at Christmas and I liked them so much I looked on amazon wnd these were the best value, they are lovely the intention is to have with coffee however I like them as biscuits. They're not tasteless or stale they're as they should be, crispy waffle with a chewy caramel centre, the flavours are subtle and delightful.

probably as close as you're going to get without it being Gwoon! Has a decent overhang on a mug, but not quite the diameter of Gwoon, but way better than Daelmans version. good cinnamon taste, crispy, nearly as hard as Gwoon, but not quite, nearly as moreish as Gwoon but not quite as tough when cold. All in all a reasonable substitute that I will buy again

I bought these as a present for someone who loves these, I watched them open it and i almost cried laughing, there were 100% well wrapped cannot fault at all and was funny watching them struggle to open the package, im sure they taste delicious as they seemed to be enjoying them, 10/10 recommend would happily purchase as a gift again

Tasty tasty, very very tasty.

These were hard and crumbly,unlike the many other stroopwaffles I have had in the past. They seem over baked to me , I mean they are still edible but so is tofu if you're hungry enough, but I won't be buying these again. To summarise, if you want something cheap, that is a distant poor relation to a stroopwaffle, and you don't mind the taste of disappointment with each bite then go for it. However if you want something less Meh ! And more Stroopwaffely,I suggest you keep browsing for a bit, good luck in your quest .

I've been buying these for years and while I have had a few better batches than others; going through my orders, looks like on average I pay about $15 per 40ct box; which is pretty good to me. I have resorted to buying different brands, and if I ever saw the ones at costco, whichever brand they are; at a price of $8.99 per box (as per a reviewer I just red from), I'd jump on those as well. Like I said, I have tried other brands, including but not limited to Daelmans, which most reviews that mention them seem to prefer; which is why I decided to leave a review of my own, since I wholeheartedly prefer these. I wouldn't be surprised if the Daelmans stayed fresh for longer, since, at least the packs I've gotten before, were individually wrapped. In all fairness, the few times I've had Daelmans, I can say they are super consistent and you always know exactly what you're getting, while with these, some batches are better than others. However, when these are good, they are, imo, the absolute best. And when they're bad, they're just alright. At similar price per lb, I'd still prefer these. Even knowing there's a gamble involved in whether I'll get a good batch or a bad one. In the last 10 boxes I've ordered, perhaps one has been bad, and perhaps 6 have been especially good. The rest, the average ones, I still prefer over Daelmans. So, with odds of 9 out of 10, I'll stick to these. Just thought I'd mention this since most reviews mentioning other brands seem to prefer the other brand. Important maybe to keep in mind, these were the ones I had first, and loved. Maybe it would've been different if my wife's parents had Daelmans that fateful day I had these for the first time. I'll keep my eyes open for when they go down in price again.
