VII CODE works to moisturize, and heal tired, dry skin around the eyes. It also heals blood vessels just beneath the skin. Skin beneath the eyes is extremely thin, so blood vessel damage shows through. That same area, beneath the eyes, can also become puffy very easy, forming bags. The best cure is not to let things get out of hand to begin with. My cousin had cosmetic surgery to remove the bags. Personally, I would rather spend money to treat the problem conservatively, using herbs. VII CODE is precisely that, an herbal treatment for damaged skin beneath the eyes. How does it work?INGREDIENTS------------------------------------------------------GLYCERIN --- Glycerin pulls moister into the skin. Its one of the best moisturizers you can use.TETRASODIUM EDTA -- In alternative medicine, EDTA is a strong anti-oxidant, known to heal injury to blood vessel walls. (One of the reasons the dark circles appear, is the red-blue color of the damaged blood vessels is visible thru the thin skin beneath the eyes.)ALLANTOIN -- this is a chemical found abundantly in Comfrey. Comfrey is one of the most healing of the herbs. Allantoin basically promotes cell regeneration, in fact, it regenerates cells at an almost miraculous rate. It heals sun damage to the skin, and subcutaneous cellular structure.ALOE VERA -- a powerful healing gel from this plant, heals all manor of burns and injuries to the skin. It moisturizes too.ENGLISH LAVENDER -- lavender is also a powerful healing essential oil. Like Aloe, it treats burns (including sun exposure, one of the main causes of skin damage leading to aging.) Lavender promotes cell regeneration, resulting in a more youthful skin.VITAMIN E -- a powerful anti oxidant. It helps the skin to regenerate, fixing damage, and preventing further damage.SMART Q10 --Another antioxidant, basically the same as CoQ10, which helps prevent damage to the blood vessels in the skin.Of course, other ingredients are on the pads. You peal them off the plastic backing, positioning them beneath your eye, and around to the edge. (where the crows feet tend to be.) They sort of feel like you're going to bed with your glasses on. They will stay stuck on, but its not adhesive that binds the pads under the eyes. It sticks because its sort of gooey. So they do come off, especially when you sleep on your side, or rub your eyes while asleep. If you have problems keeping the pads positioned, maybe try using them when you sit down to watch a movie. They suggest 8 hours of treatment, but I wasn't able to get them to remain on that long. Apply the patches after you have cleaned your skin, and toned it. Don't put other moisturizers on, just the pads, so you get the most benefit from the healing herbs and vitamins.A course of treatment needs to be followed. You wont see spectacular results overnight. Also, the worse the damage, the more the produce seems to produce a result. It could be because if you only have minor damage, like I do, the effects are more subtle. You will definitely see a more rested, less puffy, more clear looking skin under your eyes. Some people just have bags under their eyes genetically. Genes also produce those blue circles beneath the eyes, even in some young people. Those types of eyes run in families. So you can't expect this product to change your genetic structure. It will, however, minimize the damage done by the sun, and heal the subcutaneous blood vessels, so the circles under the eyes don't look so bad. So its up to you, try this, or go under the knife. (which leaves a scar. I could always tell my cousin had surgery under his eyes.) If you want to try a fix on bags and circles, I'd rather go with the herbal treatment first. See if it works for you.I was provided a sample in exchange for a fair assessment of its effects in a review.
