Q: Does it scratch the paint?

I suppose it potentially could. I have a black car and was worried it might scratch the surface. So far it hasn't. Only part I was ever really worried about are the two hex screws on the under side of the mount. But if those scratch the paint, it won't be seen. As long as the mount is pretty tight and solid in place and doesn't move around, I wouldn't worry too much about it scratching the paint surface.

Q: Will this work for regular CB, if so what other items do i need?

You would just need an 11 meter band (CB) antenna with an NMO mount. Don’t know if they make one or not.

Q: Does this have a cb female end or is it smaller

It has what is called a pl-259 connector. It should go to most CB radios. Check your CB model and see if it has a female pl259.
