Plus right in. No need to buy "Akai" brand. That's senceless. It's all standard computer memory.These come packed like freshly made RAM, packed at a plant. Which I actually think these are newly made products. Not just stuff from the 80's-90's.Old 8MB stick pops out, these two pop in, turn on, and bam. 32MB in the MPC 2000XL.

I got two sets of these, one for my S2000 and one for my MPC2000. Both work perfectly, and they arrived three days earlier then expected. If you're worried about fastpage vs EDO RAM, don't be... it's all the same to the Akai. Gives the S2000 nearly 8 minutes of sample time and the MPC2000 has 4 minutes. I think the difference has to do with the sample format being different between the two machines.
