I've been a fan of classic shredded wheat for years, but trying this Post Wheat n Bran® Shredded Wheat Breakfast Cereal was a fantastic decision. I absolutely love this cereal! Pros: A delightful change from the original bigger biscuit bars. The smaller bite-sized pieces make it much easier to eat, and the addition of bran provides a wholesome, nutty flavor with a crisp crunch that stays fresh in milk. Cons: If you prefer pre-sweetened cereals, you'll need to add your own fruit, honey, or sweetener, though the natural grain taste is excellent on its own. Overall, it's a perfect, high-fiber breakfast option that offers a nice variation on the traditional big bars. Highly recommended!

I've loved shredded when from the time I was a child (I'm 71 now), back when shredded wheat came in the large size biscuits. When spoon-sized shredded when water introduced, it was a godsend! Flash forward to 2012 when I returned to my small Arkansas town from Dallas. Here there is one grocery store. Most of the cereals they sell are the sugared varieties aimed a kids which I don't due to being diabetic. For a short time the did sell shredded wheat but they stopped offering it after about six months. Just enough time to get me hooked on shredded wheat again. So I checked Amazon and sure enough, the offered spoon-size shredded wheat with added bran. Since then I've been ordering the five-box pack of shredded wheat about every three weeks. Ordering this way saves money as I calculate that I save about two dollars a box over the price of a box of cereal (any type in the same sized box) at the local grocery. Post shredded wheat has the wonderful taste it did 60+ years ago. As long as you don't allow the product to steep in milk for an extended length of time, it retains its crunchiness in milk for the average time it takes to eat a bowl of cereal. I love it for breakfast, dinner, supper, and as a late night snack. Especially if you have prime and get the "free" shipping, ordering the five-box unit is a convenient way to go, particularly for those like me who have limited access to the product locally.

Tastes different than what I remember but still is good.

I love this stuff. I eaten it almost every morning for years. Dr said i need more fiber in my diet and this has lots of fiber in it.

With just a little sugar its a great breakfast or snack. I also use it as a crunchy covering on fried chicken, just be sure to pulverize it well.

No added sugar. Has a natural sweetness. Would be better if it were organic. I buy it on Amazon bc it costs less than at my local large chain grocery store. I buy several brands, varieties of boxed and canned goods at Amazon bc of lower prices.
