Most Ibanez guitars are made in Japan, China, and Indonesia. This GRGR221 is made in China.

My floor scale says it's about 6.8 lbs., but I don't know how accurate it is.

Will this be completely set up?

My guitar was playable right out of the box. But a "set up" comes down to preference. I changed strings to the gauge I like. Set my tuning and action. Hopefully shipping was smooth. Ifyou are a beginner that feel will come to you through playing experience. Mine arrived quite close to my liking though. Enjoy !!
