I wasn't sure I should purchase these sheets as they were a bit more expensive than what I usually spend, but they are worth the money. The quality is excellent. Soft to the touch and thicker sheets than we are used to having. Wasn't sure I wanted thicker sheets, until I had them. One can tell they will last a long, long time. I got the green color and they are perfect with my comforter. They do appear a bit lighter than the picture, but not in a bad way.So, is 1000 thread count worth it? I would say, this brand is worth it. Not sure about thread count and if that is just a scam, but California Design Den Luxury 1000 Thread Count King Size Sheets Set is just what we were hoping for. And if my husband agrees with me on something I consider that a win-win.These would make an excellent gift for any occasion.

Just had a fabulous sleep with these new sheets. I pre-washed as instructed. They are very thick and feel cool and breathable on the bed. I know they will get softer with more washing. Worth the money in my opinion. The white is very white. Definitely a bright white. The fit is very secure on my new mattress which is 11inches plus an underlying mattress cover. I think they can accommodate several inches thicker though.

These are quality sheets. I do physical therapy exercises on my bed on the sheets and my feet slip because it’s difficult to keep my feet grounded on the bed because the sheets are so slippery smooth. They are medium to high thickness. There is elastic around the entire fitted sheets. My mattress is 17 inches high but if you put the sheet on corner to corner ima diagonal pattern they fit great. There is no pilling of threads falling out of the fabric. I like the sage green color because it is calming and matches the leaves next to my flowers that are embroidered on my bed quilt. I can’t think of anything negative to point out. I’m very happy with my sheets.

So many of the sheet sets on Amazon have negative reviews just like this set has. I just received mine and unpacked them and they are currently in the washing machine. I cannot speak to their durability or actual comfort as yet, but what I can attest to is that the set I received certainly appears to be the 1,000 thread count as advertised. They felt very substantial to me as they went into the laundry. I have only slept on 1,000 TC or higher sheets since I discovered their comfort over a decade ago.There are reviews for this product that say their sheets were not the high thread count or of low quality, but I cannot say if their products were mis-shipped or if those reviews were written by people (or competitors) with an agenda. I work in a technology field and I am certainly used to hearing fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD) that is sewn by my competitors. All I can say is that my set seems nice & thick as I would expect, and the pre-washed finish seems very smooth and soft.I ordered and returned 3-4 sets of sheets that did not seem to be the quality I was looking for, but these seem to fit my initial requirements. Take this review for what it's worth.Edited on 6/21/2022: It is now 16 months later, and I am adding to my review. The top sheet has begun to fray, and I have ordered another set of these sheets. You see, I am very hard on sheets. I do not fold them. I strip my bed in the morning, wash & dry them, and they go right back on the bed that same day. So these sheets have been in constant use since February, 2021. Furthermore, I find nothing more relaxing that climbing into clean, fresh sheets, so they are washed weekly, and about every 3rd laundering I'll throw about a cup of bleach into the washing machine with the sheets. So, this is what I mean when I say I am hard on sheets, and they are just now starting to fray.

I was unsure about the reviews on these sheets, people saying they're almost as thick as a canvas tarp, but what made me try it are the reports of the wrinkles. People need to stop looking for cotton sheets and then complaining about wrinkles. If it doesn't wrinkle, then it is not 100% cotton. You WANT wrinkly sheets. Just put them on the bed, you will smooth the wrinkles out in a day or two just by sleeping on them.The thing that sold me on these sheets was the GENEROUS SIZE. The fitted sheet is elasticized all the way around, which is so convenient, and they cover the entire deep mattress and stay put very well. There is even an top and bottom indicator on the tag. But the TOP SHEET IS EVERY HOUSEWIFE'S DREAM! It covers me and my husband completely, and hangs over several extra inches on both sides. No more fighting over it!They ARE super thick, and yes, they are stiff, (not rough, but stiff due to how thick they are) because egyptian cotton is a denser weave than standard cotton, so if you want 1000tc, they will obviously be stiffer than standard cotton. I bleached the hell out of these along with a strong, harsh laundry detergent like Tide, with expensive liquid fabric softener, AND dryer sheets every 5 days for 3 weeks, and the stiffness is softening very nicely. The cotton has obviously been preshrunk, I am not experiencing shrinkage in the hot dryer. I anticipate them being well broken in reasonably soon, and I hope the thickness will make them last longer than my last sheets. Using the European Rule of 3 for linens (One on the bed, one in the closet, one in the laundry), should help rotate them well and make them last.They were worth buying, my husband likes them, not that he knows the difference between good and bad sheets, and if they last a reasonably long time, I expect that I will buy them again.

Well worth the money. We will be buying more which says something. In summer, sometimes just too hot for any blanket and these sheets are perfect. Thicker than our Italian, Egyptian or spa sheet sets. Wasn’t too sure but both hubby and I love the feel of them. Somehow when our son moved out, our sheets went missing, anyone else have this issue? Plus our chargers and cords….. :). And my husbands good sport socks…. Hmmm…. Anyway glad we got these!

These sheets are amazing. Great quality and comfortable. 100% would recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their sleep!

Poor quality, hanging threads, a grey stain, wavy stiches. Proclaimed 1000 thread count is a joke, can literally see through the bed sheet. I compared to my current sheets with 600 thread, and mine are thicker and the fabric is more even and smoother. I won't recommend this product. Overpriced poor quality crap made in India. Huge disappointment.
