I noticed I was having issues with significant chlorine depletion and figured I probably had some build up in my lines. I was amazed at how well this product worked. I put in the recommended amount and ran the Jets for quite a while in all their possible positions to get full force through every line. I stopped regularly to wipe the residue off the sides and then would restart the Jets. The scum was thick, dark green, and very sticky. You will need a lot of shop or paper towels. I also used a kitchen type strainer to pull off the foam as I went. I kept doing this until the Jets ran clear. I also did this so that the scum would not get pulled back into the lines. After this, I let it set overnight, and repeated the process in the morning, getting an additional 20% compared to what I had already pulled out. I worked until I could run the Jets at full force in all positions without any residue coming out. Then I drained the tub and refilled, wiping everything down with vinegar as I went. Any part/cover/panel that could be removed I removed so that I could make sure to get the scum out of every possible crevice. It has been over a week and my chlorine use is near-zero. I am very happy.

Used in my whirlpool bath and girlfriends. The brown water was shocking. I doubt either bath had been cleaned in the ~18 years since the houses were built. The 2nd run was almost clear, so think 1 application was sufficient. So I then used in my hot tub when it was time to drain/refill. Forty five minutes later and lots of green goo (copper deposits??) were all around the tub. Some paper towels then Dawn with lots of rinsing made quick work of the green goo. I’ve not used other products, but have been pleased with this one.

The amount of ick that comes out when using this product is great and reminds me why I use it before draining the hot tub. Works well!

it did exactly what it said it would do! i was amazed at the filth it flushed out!

Followed the instructions and the cleaner flushed out the tub as advertised. The tub had not been used in years and much of the scum from the inside was flushed out.
