Installed this new carburetor and pulled the handle one time and it fired right up.

I have been having some starting & running problems with my old 2300psi Generac Gasoline Pressure water sprayer. I had removed the carburetor on it & soaked in Carb Cleaner, reinstalled & still couldn't start it. Read a previous review here that he solved the same problem with the new carb, so I bought the $13 unit, got it next evening on prime, installed it, & it runs like a charm again.

So, I ordered a carburetor based on parts and description. Having to try and guess the year of production and carburetor specifications with correct choke and throttle mechanism. There was no clear identification from the engine shroud number to an existing new carburetor replacement cross. This seems to be a continuing thing across the board of ordering online problems.

Perfect-right out of the box.I have a piece of equipment, and it has never run as well as it does with this [very inexpensive] replacement carburetor.

The media could not be loaded. I used this carburetor for a replacement on a Briggs & Stratton 875 Intek Series motor on an Agri-Fab leaf machine. The only problem I had with the installation was that the choke lever on the new carburetor was not the same shape and length as the choke lever on the original carb. This is not surprising since every manufacturer that uses this engine probably makes changes to the choke lever depending on their air filter set up. The original choke lever configuration on the new carburetor prevented me from re-attaching the air cleaner. I then thought: Why not put the old choke lever on the new carburetor? However, initially I could not figure out how to remove the choke lever from either carburetor. Then I saw it: the choke plate ( it's a shiny, gold plate) inside the carb is held in place by slipping it through a long groove in the shaft of the choke lever handle. I used needle nose pliers to easily remove the new choke plate from the shaft of the new carb; then it was just as simple to pull out the old choke plate and handle and shaft from the old carb. However, the choke shaft on the old carb was slightly wider than the choke shaft on the new carb and this initially prevented it from fitting into the choke handle hole in the new carb. I fixed this by slowly filing and sanding the shaft on the old carb until it fit into the new carb - Voila! It started right up and worked great.You can see how I did this on the attached video. In the video the act of pulling out the choke plate makes it seem harder than it actually was - the reason for this is that the video demonstrates pulling the old choke plate out of the new carburetor choke shaft; there is a slight discrepancy in sizes between the new and old choke plates and shafts. Pulling the new choke plate out of the new choke shaft was relatively easy.

Fit perfect. Other reviews commented on the choke handle height but it fir perfect on my husky tiller model 21A-340-131. Started right up after the 10 minute install.
