The author described her sessions in subjective language and seemed to interpret clients' behavior as positive when it wasn't clear they were responding to her at all. I didn't find her to be a reliable narrator. I was troubled by some references to art therapy as a way to recover memories or process repressed trauma--psychological theories that are unproven and potentially very dangerous.

A good book and really helpful. I'm glad to have found it before I'll do my study in Art Therapy.
