The idea is good but construction poor
The electrics in this set are great and good for beginner explorers. But the construction of the house (if you can call it that ) is poor and does not withstand full construction. Flimsy plastic pieces that don’t join together well which creat a wobbly feature. The floors are thin card and bow under slight pressure.

Very unstable.
Very unstable and very poor quality. It's not worth the money.

Falls apart, very frustrating, flimsy cardboard
As others have said the plastic parts are poorly made and don't fit together properly. One was snapped when we opened the box. When you try to construct the house it keeps falling down and is really frustrating for my 8 year old. Received as a gift and wouldn't recommend. It's a good idea but poorly executed.

Junk
Flimsy, buildings fall apart as you add to them, the battery pack is virtually impossible to use with columns as slightly different in size. for the money, maybe worth just building the circuits and adding them to another building set. The box we got said it had been reengineered for better fit and construction so I can't imagine what the previous version was like!

Could have used better materials but fun
It was pretty fun but my 8 year-old was frustrated when some parts snapped and when the structure kept collapsing. However, my child learned a lot from this kit and got really interested in how things work. The customer service was also helpful and sent us replacement parts in 5 days after we called.

My daughter loves it!
My 11 year old daughter loves to build and loves doll houses especially houses that have functioning little features like lights etc! This one was perfect for her to build on her own and have an idea of what it takes to make lights work in a house! Great for homeschoolers!

Very disappointed in this product
My 8 year old daughter spent a whole afternoon doing this activity and the structure kept collapsing. The structure was not stable and the pieces did not fit well together. Even with adult help, we just could not get it to hold.It was a frustrating and tiring exercise, and after 6 hours of frayed tempers, we have nothing to show for it.

Bought it for my grandson who was almost 7 at that time. He loved playing with it. He would use its components with his LEGO toys. After some time, wiring and lights stopped working so he asked me for another one. I gave the second one to him for Christmas. He’s having a good time with whatever he salvaged from his first set and this one
