Doesn’t comeWith map loaded
The stereo is great but I specifically searched for one with the maps preloaded. This one sounds as if it’s all set and ready to go… but it’s not you have to hook to wifi and download the maps and of course I didn’t know this until it was installed and would be a pain to take out…

It needed a firware update *** UPDATED ***
I just finished installing this head in my wife's 2009 Honda Odyssey. The first 5 to 10 minutes were great. everything worked perfectly. After that the head unit starting cutting off and on again. At this point i'm trying to get in contact with customer service to see if there is some sort of firmware issue that can fix it. If not I will be sending it back. This would be my second android radio that doesn't work. Install was pretty easy.*** Update 1/18/2021 ***So after getting to contact with customer support they were very helpful. They told me that if they couldn't fix the radio they would replace it for free and allow me to keep the old one. They showed me a video on how to update the firmware. This basically reset the radio. since that update everything has been working great. The accessory mic is awesome. It really helps with the call sound when driving. My past radios that have the mic build into the head unit didn't work very well. Anyway, the radio is working as expected, i'm happy. It's like having a phone in your car. I would have given it 5 starts if it worked great right out the box.

Big Problems with this product
I have had 3 of these units now and they all behave the same, which is to say they don't work right. Firstly, the fuse blows out about 20 seconds after powering up the unit. If you replace the fuse it will blow again in only a few seconds. This is without anything plugged in like USB, dash cam, etc. Only the head unit powered up and it blows it's own fuse!Secondly, if you do get it to run for longer than 30 seconds it gets insanely hot. The back will burn and hurt it's so hot. When I turn the volume up past about halfway, the unit turns off and restarts, like it browns out powering the speakers. This is the same behavior with all 3 units. One purchased here, two through other sources. I have returned them all. Vanku support told me to open up the unit and replace the motherboard!!?!??!Do not buy.

Junk
Garbage, cheaply made,slow prosser.

Expensive garbage
First off, I was hoping this device would sync to my brake controller. It doesn't. Not the manufacturers fault though, that's on the operating system. Then the thing wouldn't sync to my OBD2 dongle for Torque (all my other devices do). Then the GPS wouldn't work. Then the microphone for the speakerphone option worked for one day and then quit. Then I hooked up the reverse camera only to fry the video wire (why the hell would THAT wire get hot!?!?) Then to add insult to injury the front left speaker stopped working and that's when I had had enough and ripped it out of my dash. Great $200 paper weight.

Nice Interface. 30s boot. SDCard issues.
This is the 4th Android head unit I've installed over the past several years. It has the best software interface so far. I don't know if that's because of brand customization, or Android 11. It's a little snappier than some past units, but still not as fast as my phone. The sound quality is as good as the factory unit I removed. I don't have an amplifier connected to this one. The short wiring harness included with the stereo matched up with the wiring harness in my 2010 Hyundai Elantra. I didn't need to purchase an adapter. If I had steering wheel controls, I or wanted to connect the original aux and usb in, I would still have needed a wiring kit. I did have to purchase an adapter for the antenna.I purchased a dual port USB "extension cable" mount that fits in place where the cigarette lighter socket was. The two leads connected directly to the female USB connectors included with the stereo. I get warnings from my phone that it's not a high speed charger, but the USB works as expected.I don't use the phone mirroring software so I can't comment on its effectiveness. The video quality is great. The video from the backup camera starts as soon as the car is put in reverse, regardless of whether or not the stereo has fully booted, and the picture is clear. This stereo does NOT boot in 1s when connected to the factory stereo wiring harness. It's more like 30 seconds. It displays an image from the firmware, then a boot logo (which you can update), and then the Android screen with a boot message. I have another unit that has a built-in battery like a regular android tablet that allows for a fast boot. That doesn't appear to be the case with this one. It doesn't boot as fast as advertised, but I've had worse. The physical volume knob, home, back, and navi buttons are nicely positioned. My vehicle doesn't have steering wheel volume controls. I highly recommend buying a unit with a knob if yours doesn't either. My experience has been that volume buttons, whether physical or software, are a pain while driving.Cons:The dust cover over the SD card slot makes it nearly impossible to insert if your your dash fascia isn't flush with the front of the stereo. The cover doesn't move far enough out of the way and slot is right on the edge. I'm not sure my sdcard slot is functional. I don't know if the contacts should face left or right. I inserted it carefully with needle nose pliers and it didn't seat as expected either way.The "Music" player enumerates all of the files on a USB flash drive (and presumably the SD card) every time the car starts up. That means that if you have a huge, old school collection on a flash drive, you have to wait for it, and then it's nearly impossible to navigate. This is a common Android head unit issue. The player works well if you only have a few albums. It's better than the other implementations I have experience with, but still a pain for those long stretches where you don't have radio or or cell service.I gave this 4 stars because of the sdcard issue and the fact that it doesn't boot in 1s as advertised.
