uniball Power Tank Rt Ballpoint Pen, Retractable, Bold 1 Mm, Black Ink, Smoke/black Barrel, Dozen

This is my go-to pen of all time! I like to do crossword puzzles in bed before I go to sleep, and I had trouble with other pens not writing at that angle. These pens are perfect. They write every time, and the ink lasts a long time. I have them sitting all over the house and carry them in my purse. They write right away - you don't have to shake them or scribble a bit to get them started. I've reordered them more than once. The only criticism I would have is the clip is a bit awkward and in the way of a smooth hold. Wish the on/off clip was shorter or not there at all; maybe just a push down on/off from the top of the pen.

I annotate my books in all sorts of positions, and this is the only pen I have found that legit writes upside down for hours. Plus, you get a box for a great price so I don’t have to worry about loosing one like the expensive ones.

Tough, practical, reliable, writes in wet paper, writes on vinyl, writes on almost anything because it is pressurized.

You guys. This pen. I have words.So I’m in the police academy and my instructor said, “Raining, blizzard, freezing, sunny, hot, humid, you will be outside taking reports every class. Undoubtedly every class somebody says, ‘my pen froze and won’t work! (I live in a state that’s cold in the winter months) so you guys better bring a pencil as a backup with you. I don’t want to hear excuses. You’ll write this from memory if you can’t take notes due to poor planning. So I’m telling you now, PLAN AHEAD!”A pencil seemed.... like an absolute last resort. I don’t know why, it was just an unappealing idea. I don’t want a pencil in a blizzard. I just don’t.I am familiar with the brand “write in the rain”, so I bought a few of their notebooks... figured if they could handle rain, they could handle melting snowflakes. But then I needed pens that could handle water, snow, freezing conditions, etc. so I googled a pen that would be suitable.YOU GUYS. THIS PEN.I took my Write In The Rain notebook, tore a page out, put it IN THE SINK and ran the water on high directly over the paper. I got the brand new pen soaked and starting riding on the paper while the water was still flowing over the pen and the paper. Looked like a normal writing activity had occurred.Then I got a little crazy... I put their brand new, never used, straight out of the box, pen in the freezer. Left it there for 36 hours.Took it out, clicked it to start writing, scratched it on the paper up and down a few times to get the frozen part off, and immediately wrote a paragraph with a pen that sat in 0° for over a day. It worked literally flawlessly. I didn’t have to shake it, breathe on the tip, scratch anymore, nothing. It worked like a normal pen.You have a new customer for life... and when I’m taking some report outside in the snow and everyone else’s pen doesn’t work, I’ll send my whole police academy your way. Do we get a portion of revenue for referral? Haha!.... guys I never thought I’d write a review about pens that I was actually passionate about. Plus, they arrived days sooner then they said.GET THESE! Bravo to the company for making a product that PERFORMS! Works as described, the only pen I use. However, if your looking for refills comparably priced....your out of luck. Which means you throw the whole pen away. Terribly wasteful in my opinion.
