Will this work on wasps?

Yes I had to free a bumble bee that had one leg stuck. Anything that contacts with it will be stuck.

Can this be applied to painted walls?

Dont think it would work to well. Would peel paint off. Intended to put on glass. The light draws the flys to it.

How do you remove the film when it is full of flies? Is it easy to remove?

Start peeling off from one end then fold in middle and stick it back onto itself. Then peel off completely. Easy and least nasty solution.
