You can't go wrong with switchcraft

Switchcraft quality is well known. This jack does what you'd expect - it creates a nice tight secure connection between your instrument and the cable. I'm not a metalsmith, but people in the industry tend to laud Switchcraft for the quality of their materials, so I'll take them at their word. It's a touch expensive for a jack and I think there are some other worthy contenders out there. (I'll try to link something I think is a better bang for your buck, but I don't know if Amazon scrubs links from these reviews or not. If they do...oh well, I tried). That said, even though it's a little much for a tiny piece of metal, it's a worthy upgrade if you're having connection issues with your instrument. I ordered these mono, "open circuit" jacks, but I actually received mono switching jacks. No big deal for my application, and I have a couple spares to keep in my electronics inventory. Just pay attention to which solder tab goes where in the jack itself and they'll work fine, plus you get the bonus switching function if you want to use it.

Simple switch, Installed in custom Super strat to replace the one that came with the jack plate. A bit bigger than the hole, not an issue I dremeled it just a hair and fits tight, wired easy, no noise, great for money spent,
