An affordable Trinity type of rig.
speak as someone with experience operating Steadicam systems. I am really impressed with the capability and versatility of a system that blends the Ronin RS 3 and the DigiFoto Thanos Pro 2. It really has the potential to be what many have called a fake Trinity rig. But there is one important feature that needs to be developed for specifically the RS 3 (not the RS 3 Pro). And that is either a small wireless or wired remote that can be located on the handle of the Thanos Pro 2 that will allow the ability to control the gimbals tilt functions with a thumb stick. There are some devices developed for the RS 3 Pro, but for many of us that equipment is overkill and unnecessary for the camera systems we fly. I would prefer wireless but wired would be OK too. And I believe it's doable since I've seen YouTube videos instructing how to hook up a PS controller to the RS 3. Whoever invents it will have the appreciation and dollars from the growingt community of "Trinity" users.

This thing is sick - bang for the buck
I love this thing. I got a red camera to elevate the type of gigs i was getting, which it did, and really needed something to steady the shots. this thing with a crane 3 works like a charm! not bad at all for the price. With the red it's a little hard to fully balance but for what it is, ill take it! my only thing would be that you cant truly do completely upside down like an infinity rig, or if you can I haven't balanced right. But I don't care. Love it!

Great product!
This is a game changer for videography. It allows more than you can imagine just using a gimbal. Definitely would recommend for the price.

This is a steadicam + support vest It fix the wobble from handheld a gimbal. If you have used steadicam/glidecam in the past, you should be able to setup easily. Just it's not for every shooting situation. Make sure you will have lots of space to move and not hitting things. Not suggest to use in crowded place. I receive it the day before the show, so I basically try the setup at home and then use it for a show next day. And the result is amazing.

I use the DF DIGITALFOTO Thanos Pro II with a DJI RS 3, Nikon Z7II and Atomos Ninja 2024 (powered by NP-F) and I can say with confidence that it is a real find for videographers of any level! This stabilization system exceeded all my expectations, especially considering its affordable price and excellent build quality. The first thing that strikes me is how easy it is to balance. Setting up the Thanos Pro II with the DJI RS 3 and camera takes a few minutes. Multiple balancing points allow you to adjust the system to any weight and equipment configuration. I tried using the camera mount platform as a link between the Ronin RS 3 and a monopod - it works great for high-precision horizontal adjustment. I have a Nikon Z7II with an Atomos Ninja 2024 recording in ProRes RAW 10-bit, and even with this setup, balancing is achieved without any extra effort. Now I choose the most convenient, flexible and lightweight high-speed HDMI cables for the Atomos Ninja 2024 to fully unlock the potential of RAW shooting, but even with the basic settings the result is impressive. Thanos Pro II gives incredible freedom of movement. I shoot at the highest and lowest points - from ground level to outstretched arms - without the slightest discomfort. Full coverage of horizontal points provides excellent control: the camera smoothly follows every movement, and the double spring lever dampens all vibrations. In conjunction with the RS 3, you can achieve highly professional results, especially in dynamic shooting, where precision and stability are important. The build quality is top notch. The materials (carbon fiber monopod, durable metal mounts) feel reliable and durable. Telescopic carbon tubes fold conveniently and are easy to fix in the desired position. The vest is adjustable to fit any body type, from skinny to large operators, and the settings are so flexible that the system can be adjusted to literally anyone. Even after long hours of work, there is no fatigue - the weight of the equipment is distributed perfectly. I plan to supplement and upgrade the system. I want to switch to power from the V-Mount platform, which is included, by installing NP-F batteries through an adapter - I use them all the time and am not considering buying two types of chargers for V-Mount and NP-F. Compared to professional systems that cost a fortune, Thanos Pro II is an ideal budget tool. It is suitable for both beginner video makers and advanced filmmakers who want quality without overpaying. For a very small amount of money, you get a professional level of stabilization, convenience and reliability. For me, this is the best choice in its class - I recommend it to anyone who wants to take their projects to the next level!

Good vest but I was hoping for allen screws on the vest if you want to move the arm for right handed people. The Phillips screws are so tight that they are almost impossible to loosen. There is also no screwdriver included to make the vest for right-handed people. You have to do all this yourself, while most people wear the camera on the right. Furthermore, the vest could have had some rubber to protect the glidecam that could come into contact with the vest. otherwise perfect.
