This is a colored pencil drawing of a young lady with blue hair, piercings, and a look of complete awe on her face. I adore playing with color and creating incredibly vibrant images. This drawing was created using Prismacolor colored pencil on Bristol board. I use these colored pencils because of the amount of pigment that can be put on the page along with the smoothness by which they can be applied. The paper was used because of how sturdy it is and how smooth the surface is, both of which makes it perfect for my unique colored pencil technique. This piece is 9x12 in. This is a completely original, one of a kind piece of art. This drawing comes in a lovely blue metal frame and white matting, both of which really enhance the colors used in the piece.
