I thought I could make it work, but unfortunately the window I had selected for this perch did not work out. I will say it was beautifully constructed and the suction cups did work really well. Just wasn't the right fit for me. If you're considering a perch, this is definitely a great option.

Easy to set up and is super sturdy against window. Pad was destroyed by the cat, but other than that no complaints. Catto loves this!

Do not buy this - it falls off the window so easily and is a waste of money. Don't let the other reviews fool you. I was really excited about this product but was a bit hesitant because I didn't know how suction cups could be sturdy enough to hold a cat - but after reading the reviews I figured it would be all good - but I was wrong. We got the product, followed all the direction on cleaning and setting it up, and got it on the window. Right away we were excited because the cats love it. We have 4 cats - all average size - and they were all enjoying it. After about 10 minutes though, we hear a thud - and there goes our cat and the "window kitty sill" tumbling to the ground. I didn't believe it - not after all of these reviews saying it was great. So we tried it again - and 5 minutes later another thud. We did this about 5 times - each time following the directions and setting it up - and each time major disappointment. Now we have 4 cats that look at the thing and just meow hoping it can go back on the window. As you can see from the picture - we have one of our cats just sitting in it on the table - wishing it was in the window. You also can see that the bed of the "kitty sill" is fabric which means if your cats have claws there is a really good chance they will just rip it up - like ours did. It was a major waste of money. Don't buy it - especially if you don't want to upset your cats.

The cats love the windows but don't have a good way to look out them, so I got this. A lot of reviews complain about the recent model suction cups not holding at all, but I've found that they work perfectly. To install: Clean the window VERY WELL. Clean it until it's genuinely clean and wiped well to have no residue (you can clean it with water if you wipe it well enough afterward). Clean the suction cups well. Warm the suction cups a *bit* to make them more malleable, but not so much that you warp them (other people complained about this as well - if you use a hairdryer, use it on low and only for a very short time). Make sure everything is dry. Unscrew the screw caps on the two end suction cups a bit, but not entirely. Press all 3 suction cups against the clean window firmly. The middle one should grip pretty well with some pressure, but the end ones will not. You need to press them firmly against the window, and while doing that, screw the cap down all the way to seal the cup against the window. Do that with the other side. Mine has been on the window for several days with no sign of loosening whatsoever. I can pull much, much harder than a cat's weight and it does not budge. Maybe they will give out eventually, I do not know, but they seem solid. The actual bed seems very solidly built. It has some give, but does not seem like it will ever rip or break. I had to take the included insert pad out because it's the perfect texture to tempt my cats into clawing on it. Even without the pad, they seem happy to sleep in it. I will consider adding a little blanket or towel or something, but they don't seem to need it.
