Q: Does this work with the pantry bugs or just moths? I've had an infestation of the teeny bugs but no actual flyers.

until they hatch, they won't be attracted to the lure, so the best thing to do is vacuum out all the crevices in the pantry. If you can take out the shelves and vacuum that will get more of the larvae. Also, check all of your stored grain and make sure that you have not missed any larvae in your grain. They will chew through thin plastic containers as well as plastic bags and paper bags. The only "food" that grain bugs never nested in at my house was white flour, guess that has no nutrients in it that will attract the moths. If you put all of your grains, beans, rice, coffee and pasta into the freezer for a week (minimum 7 days) then all of the grain bugs and larvae will die. You need to do this to any grains you bring home, put them directly into the freezer to kill the grain bugs that are already in the product. I hope this helps.

Q: Is there a right side to the red lure or does it matter?

The lure does not have a side that needs to be facing out. It can be placed in the trap either way.

Q: Do these work on weevil beetles?

These traps are designed to trap only male pantry moths, breaking the breeding cycle. They are not recommended for weevil beetles, we apologize.

This product is designed specifically for pantry moths, and is not recommended for carpet beetles.

Did not work this time

I've used Safer before to get rid of pantry moths, but this time, it's simply not working. Maybe the pack was old, and the pheromones are not strong enough. The moths are flying around but not approaching the trap at all. And this is an expensive pack!

Completely useless

I followed the instructions and fixed the pheromone trap. The mites were flying around the trap. Left it over night... Still flying around on the morning.
